As for doing a better deal. If he'd grabbed the shares at a 50% discount or if he'd invested £1 mil in a start up that would be a good deal. I don't speak for every investor here but personal view is he paid too much for a tiny % of a £1.2 bill outfit. Time will tell of course but this will not see phenominal growth/returns. GL.

VE is a company which has already seen phenominal growth going from $0-$1+billion in 6 years. Whether you think this is a great deal or not depends on if you believe it will grow another 10 billion over the next 6 years. I personally don't. This company will continue to grow but invested too late in the game imo. And the sp action backs up my thoughts. But we'll see and I'm happy to hold a small amount here. GL.
