Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
I guess the partnership with that Spanish company will involve a knowledge/technology transfer.
As mentioned capacity and capability are not the same. We have the govt on side. I think it will make a nice, long term career for some of young people to be involved in this 'Green Future'.
I am optimistic about this future.
Wanting a judicial review and getting one are separate items.
I often wonder about the delay delay in December for further public consultation. I would guess that was legal advice to forestall a JR.
These are my opinions and nothing more.
I am optimistic. All lot of actions being taken suggests they know the outcome.
I keep saying that this is procedural. Follow that and they get the ML.
If procedures have been followed then a JR will be rejected. It already has in my opinion. The ML is inevitable and politically the support is there.
I really doubt that they can show that DAEFRA has not followed procedure.
I would have to disagree. A judicial review does not mean that something is arguable. They need to prove that DAEFRA hasn't followed a legal process.
They are very aware of this. That is what the department does.
I still think there will be a kind of compromise Maybe heightened real time monitoring of the brine discharge etc.
Good link Speedy. It enjoys cross party support.
Surely the role of the minister is to make sure his department have followed procedures. That has taken years.
I think all legal procedures are being followed. To take the ML to a judicial review will involve proving that those procedures have not been adhered to. I personally think that is not the case so this will not get a judicial review.
I believe the adjacent burns wood pellets and poultry litter. I am not sure how efficient that process is.
This is a good reference.

Judicial reviews are rarely granted. You cannot submit a judicial review and expect to get it heard. I believe around 75% are never taken to that stage.
I am not invested here for the IM project but I understand many were.
I am not a lawyer...but most judicial reviews do not happen. Wasnt the extended public consultation to stifle a judicial review? Who knows its out of our hands.
Maybe DAEFRA are covering themselves for a legal challenge. Is/was the ML issue procedural?
Everything has to be correct for it to be granted and not legally challenged. AEG was in this position last year for an air permit which was granted after a 2 year delay.
Most judicial reviews are not granted. I don't expect there to be one in this case.
They give it or they don't.
That is in the long term. In the short term I expect an operational/trading update tomorrow. Maybe some more test burn orders (Duke Energy?). The FID is due in Alberta. Their 50t plant is expected to be online next year.
I thought you 'refrained from hurling insults'.
