This is for everyone to share their views not just dampers/people who want to buy.
I'm agreed that this is an absolute bargain, especially in light of the performance and dividends, I was tempted myself but it's too much of a gamble for me, good luck to the brave but this genuinely could go either way, sticking your fingers in your ears and telling people to stop spreading fear will not help you, you're living in the clouds if you think this is a solid, risk free investment.
What's next though? No one will buy us at 5-10x current price so I'm interested what you think the strategy should be. We now know there is a significant amount of oil that we can extract, is there anything else we need to do to prove this or are we just going to set up a drilling rig and start selling that black gold? Or are we just pressing for more evidence until a bigger player to snaps us up and take a big cash out?
Incredible news, just wish I had more shares as we're now over a pound and 25% today.
I agree, I hope things continue as they are but the capitalisation is 600m, clearly there's fat profits in here so the big boys will be licking their lips as 600m is pocket change to them, they'll have to pay a hefty premium though with this potential. Interesting to see what the future holds
Yes mine was about 15% down so must have been.
Looks like the placing price will be 810p. Decent discount from yesterday but there or there abouts the closing price today, wonder if the market knew or whether they've just priced it at closing? I was hoping there would be a discount on the closing price but all things considered 810 feels OK and plenty of room to grow
I've put a small amount of money into primary bid but to be honest I'm getting the same vibes that this may be a bad call. The SP keeps sinking and the fact they've extended the deadline means that they're not being picked up in the numbers expected. That said, it's hard to tell if that's specific to this share or just a sign of a choppy market at the moment. Anyway, am I can hope for now is that they put a decent discount on top of the current SP to give me a shot at getting in at a good price and hope that the IIs are in so it doesn't tank further after bookbuilding.
Does anyone have an opinion on the primary bid offer? Is this a good company? The SP is down but there's no details on what price the placing will be at
It's going nuts, I bought in at 8.99 last week thinking I had got to the party too late... already 40% up. I think you're right in the 20p assessment, people quoting 50-60p are a little bit overambitious in my eyes but who knows, just wish I'd bought more
This aged well
I like I say if this is a good day then I dread to see what a bad day looks like, thinking of getting out while I still have my shirt, if Colin would get off his arse I might change my mind but I've not seen anything as of yet to tell me otherwise
It's not a grasp of English it's a grasp of his pure fantasy. If it's been a day of good news can you explain why ODX is down 8%? I dread to think what a bad news day would be...
