Agreed it looks like a great acquisition, first bit of good news from this management team imho. Can’t believe the price either, surely worth more if the EBIT figures are correct - not always a straight forward calculation when selling a small part of a bigger group.

Drop the awful CF website asap. As a LTH I have persevered to try and buy stuff on it but gave up some time ago.

I do not get the euphoria about the results. Recent LFL sales up about 3%, PBT expectations in line with MARKET expectations (my emphasis), big cost headwinds to come. I am LTH with >100k of shares so I wish it was better but I don't think it is and I still think buying a business in the states is gonna be a diversion from the core. GLA

As a LTH I obviously welcome today's increase in the share price but I would be very cautious about buying a business in the US. Many much bigger outfits than CF have tried and most have failed. In fact I wonder if today's sp increase more a result of the Trading Update part of the RNS ? Apart from the purchase price are there any metrics that have been published ? Acquisitions can be great vanity projects for senior management - let's hope they do take their eye off the core business. GLA

Yes I had the same issue. Unfortunately they are idiots. My original order showing on the website but no option to reorder - in fact why didn't they just do that for all the orders they screwed up. They sent me a goodwill £5 but that can only be used if you spend more than £5. My paper loss means I cannot bring myself to sell the many share I hold. Neither can I bring myself to use Moonpig even though whilst more expensive, is a better product.
