Could they be happy with what’s going on at HQ? They’ve got a seat after all?

Could there be a deal between the group and frasers? Eg start selling some of the brands in sports direct and house of frasers? And vice versa? Strange how shirts are down. Do they know something we don’t. Trying my best to be optimistic here hoping they’re a decent credible plan

I got a real feeling that this company just isn’t ruthless enough when it comes to hard times. It’s clear they need a huge cull of stadf and need to resize to move forward. They’re trying different band aid strategies whilst trying to keep everyone employed. It’s never going to work. They need a complete reset . I’m astounded we haven’t heard what the credible plan is yet. Such disrespect for the shareholders not to share any plans going forward. Other than that silly video he posted the other day. We were getting an RNS every day when Mike Ashley was around. Since they got their own way nothing. I still think there’s a lot of value in this company, but they clearly need to sell off some assets and resize themselves. Start from a blank piece of paper with a bit of money in the bank and no debt.

Hi all, don't post often but read daily. I've messaged IR asking when we will know about their credible plan. I was just wondering if anyone else had and if they have had a response yet as I haven't.

Dark matter AKA Boohoo‘s credible plan is a mysterious, invisible substance that makes up about 95% of the what the company is telling us. It's thought to be made up of particles, baloney, self interest and failure, similar to visible matter, but it doesn't interact with light, ordinary matter, or shareholders. except through vague RNS’s.

Why won’t they offer more clarity on what their credible plan is? I want to vote for the the current board but they’re not giving me enough reason to. If we don’t get more solid evidence of how they plan to turn things around, I’m with MA

If you’re listening, what is your plan? More radio silence if you get the vote? JL took massive risks squandering all of Boohoo’s money for two simple reasons:

1. He had no skin in the game. It was risk free.

2. If he pulled it off he get a record bonus.

It’s concerning that Dan hasn’t purchased any shares himself.

For me if they don’t let us is know a credible plan soon, I’ll be happy for Big Mike to take the reins.

Recently created profile. Heckling (clearly after a few beers which we know the big man enjoys). If so, what’s your plan? We’re happy to vote for you once we hear something credible.

Most intelligent people here will agree that it’s a bit ominous this far that Ashley hasn’t given us us intentions or assurances. I’d be happy to vote for him if he did and I agreed with them. As for the current lot, it’s so disappointing that they’re only pulling their finger out now there’s predictors circling. They’ve had a complete disregard for shareholders and I’ve never seen anything like the spending spree JL went on. 300m was it?

We can all agree that the results will be poor. But the BOD have run out of road here. No more headwinds. No more arrogance and ignoring the PI’s. No more spending money like it’s going out of fashion. Times up. So they’ve been meeting up with larger shareholders to run their turnaround plan by. Maybe get some advice too. That way, when we get the results, probably tomorrow, they’ll hit us with the bad news but then try and dress it up. The most important lesson any PLC can learn from this is, having no skin in the game, and ignoring your shareholders with months of silence, is a tactic that isn’t conducive. It doesn’t work in any regard and is an ethos that should be thrown in the bin.

I think the new ceo appointment is a bad idea. They’re all from the same culture and too scared to shake things up and make the necessary drastic changes. I hope MA kicks off in a way. They need to keep the pressure on this lot. The days of staying quiet and being arrogant have gone.

If the current BOD would have at least acknowledged where they’d gone wrong and explained, and been more transparent on their turnaround plan, we would have been more forgiving. Instead we’ve just had the arrogant radio silence that seems to be the norm from this lot. Thankfully it’s come to a head now. No more ignoring your PIs and thinking you can carry on without any accountability. Time for serious decisions and quick.

Infuriating their shareholders with their silly policy of not communicating properly has led us to this. It only takes an individual like MA to ignite something, and the rest of the shareholders a will join the riot. They’ve got themselves to blame. Sheer arrogance on their part. John Lyttle thought he could invest his way out of the headwinds. Why? Because he was promised a huge bonus. And with no skin in the game he had nothing to lose. I can see this going to 60p quickly, just off the back of multiple speculation. But I’m just hoping all this has given the board the wake up call they desperately needed.

What are people’s guesses for Monday? I’m seeing a 15-20% increase in the share price

They’ve ran out of road. Blaming headwinds etc and expecting the landscape to return to pre Covid times. They were extremely arrogant and thought they could keep investing and expanding, and wouldn’t have to answer to anyone because it will come good. There’s no more excuses now though. They’re finally realising they’re on their last chance. Shaking up PLT. Boohoo will be next. They need to resize. Take a few steps back. Get their house back in order. And point this sinking ship in the right direction

Think it’s fair to say they’ve buried their head in the sand for a long time, blaming headwinds etc. They’ve finally realised that the landscape has changed and they’re having to, they’ve had a kick up the bum recently. I think the embarrassment of their luxury holiday together will have been a big contributor to this wake up call
