I dont see why Disney would takeover CINE, they are killing it in the streaming game. They killed earnings with tons of new subscibers. Streaming is clearly the future, the cinema just does not appeal to the consumer like it once did.
Best advice you will hear today: dont tell the missus about cine
Odds on this becoming another meme stock like amc
Ps: blessings to those who took the hit
My point wasn't that netflix will drive them out of business. Cineworld will survive for years to come im not trash talking this share i am long for the short term.
Imo cineworld will always find it harder to get revenue when companies like netflix and other streaming sites exist, cinema will always have a market. But i struggle to believe they will be as profitable as they were in years to come. I hope i am wrong for the sake of the true long term longers on here. But i think i will be out of this share come march. Good luck to all just sharing a perspective.
Lol you can think what you like, i’m just someone trying to inform. Coming across as a smartass was not my intention, but your reply only makes you sound like a child.
Something i overlooked aswell, with this new vaccine coming in. The strain of covid that this vaccine is for will only make that strain of covid less common. What about the potential 1000s of others? We live everyday exposed to millions of types of viruses and bacteria that our bodies have never encountered before yet we still live through it. My gut is telling me that flu jabs will be of the past and covid jabs will be the norm every 3 months. It will be like a race to beat covid before it mutates again.
I personally believe high 50’s isnt likely, but this is cine...
Tell me IDW, when has the market never recovered over time? You do have a brain don’t you?
There is a 100% chance for the stock market to recover at this point, it always recovers. But IDW over here thinks that there is gonna be a war which statistically isnt even worth talking about. Do you play the lottery by any chance IDW? I suppose today is your lucky day!
In that case why invest in any stock at all? If you are so scared of the 0.000001% chance of a terror attack or war starting you may aswell shut down your account now and get a day job this isnt the job for you.
From nuclear war to korean war, and i thought i was pessimistic...
Have a gooden mate, are you one are you two are you three are you four and so on...
My only quarrel about t212 is that sometimes they have trouble connecting to the markets, and sometimes the graphs just seize to exist so impossible to tell whats happening. Ok for investing, not so much day trading...
I think if they played it smart average could be 55 ish, but average over the past 3 days is closer to 57/58p
When you short a stock, you sell a stock while promising to buy it back at a later stage. Because to initiate a short you effectively sell stocks this makes the price go down, shorts make money by predicting the market to go down in price. They make their money by buying back the stock at a cheaper price and cashing in the difference. What you will see here soon is called a short squeeze, were a piece of news or just general market movement brings a ton of buyers which pushes the price up. The people who short then lose money and cut their losses by buying back the stock, this inturn pushes the price up which puts even more pressure on people who are shorting.
Got a 30 gal marine myself, fishkeeping is great! Oh wait this is a share chat...
Reminds me when intu-properties went under, but people still paying large sums of money for the shares. I remember seeing a article explaining that it was due to new investors who had become interested because of the crash seeing it so cheap without doing any research.
Managed to get out mid way through the drop, then lowered my entry point by about a penny. Now this rise! Love it when things go as planned.
IDW, your actual job is selling tesco bags outside of asda mate
