Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Hi Long wait; at <35p (thanks for the 32p issue reminder/correction) Hur is < +10% up, with circa £200m/ yr profit. Once the CB's are dealt with, if Hur isn't going to be a prod coy, where is that money going to go?? More bumholes on Warwick? That's the current plan!
Alternately, at <£700m mcap, would a £1100m hostile go? Maybe, given the reactions of many here......
Just being realistic.

Hire, not but, stupid effi g spellchecker.
Gla
Oh, FFS.....
FFS, can't do this on a mobile.
.... summaries just do not cut the mustard. For all our sakes, but, get a proper pr person in and do the job properly. The company is in serious danger of losing control of it's own destiny, imo.
What was the price of the last fundraise, 27p? Soon the coy will be able to buyback its own shares at cost.....
Gla
AK; 'hur RNs which doesn't tell the whole story'. - that's exactly hur's problem: their PR is very poor. These ' I'm a bit busy so here's a thirty+second dummary
just saw your 20:17, AK; it's in the model: "Volumetrics". i.e. is the model correct; i.e. do the results, given the probability distributions vs Confidence Interval, bear-out the assumptions made from the War seismics? I suspect Hur will be in heavy revaluation of said stuff; whether the CPR will revise it remains to be seen: Connectivity to LC = good (potentially lower FFD costs); less vol = bad, obs.
A lot 'tbd'....
gla
tindrum; yes of course it can be same api if not connected: if the 'kitchen' is the same and the post-birth life similarly so, you get the same stuff, chemistery. A later fault, or an injection of viscous material into a crevice where it shouldn't really be, could separate them physically; bit like a divorce.
gla
btw traders; if Hur losses are peeing you off and piling it on is making you feel desperate, Hur do a good line in ropes........
GLA
tindrum; i think it's more than a 'one field' question: (apologies if this has been discussed earlier today, just got in and read first page...)
imo the 'issue' here is less whether War-Lincs are contiguous, rather whether the physical oil-bearing fissure characteristics of the general War area have the same size, distribution and interconnectivity as those producing on Lancs, and - we think from the so-far-known dst info - that of Lincolns recent well. The WD no-show placed a question-mark over the deeper reservoir model of War, and this WW well being about 1/3rd as prolific as LC/Lancs doesn't answer that hanging question. If the LinWar reservoir is sufficiently-connected to make them an item, then, given the low gusher-rate of War strikes thus far, might we see the 2020 drill plan become Lincentric? I'd guess so, it's obvious that both Spirit and Hur need to create income first and explore again later; in retrospect one might wonder why the recent campaign didn't switch to 2 Lincs holes following the WD bladder-dribble then Lincs ~4kbbl/d initial. (Probably 'cos 'twas too difficult to cx the plan; groan - is it really 2019...?)
imo the model is still in question, particularly wrt the LinWar patch. I saw a comment opining that the 935mmbbl CPR'd for LinWar is further validated by this recent WW result: I'm not so sure that's true. Next time Dr T does a geo lecture, i'm going to try to get back and go, 'cos i'd like to see the models and underlying data for myself ('fat chance', lol!) At any rate, seeing Dr Trice's team's explanations for the model veracity/validity will be crucial: does the sismic model fidelity give the currently-experienced strike-rate; were WD and WW stastically expected bummers, so will more holes mean a better probability of hits like lancs 6 and 7Z? In lay language, how much of the War 2 is 'bad luck'?
Taverham: I recall seeing a comment that Lincs was > 42api (43 is close to condensate, isn't it?) ; i guess they use soaps (spectrographic oil analysis) to determine the source. But it does sound hopeful. Which would be some saving from this latest sp wiper.
GLA
Jeez Jiffybag; if i'd known what was to follow that 'for a laugh' comment i'd definitely not have posted it! However, as several folk have noted, it's great to see such knowledgable opinion/debates etc. arising (on this bb, if much less so in the UK as a whole) whenever something contentious gets mentioned. The met still looks a bit brisk wind-wise next Weds-Fri; i guess they'll try to use that to help blow the TOL to the lee of it's winter rest anchorage. Oh F**k.
gla
when people can't express their views on issues, Pipedragger, you get things like DWH.
hoping for an ok rns nextweek, someday.
gla
cebo, ak: yes, appreciate the sea-state won't have had enough fetch to pull -up big. But 40m/s is breezy for a tub with windage (80 m/s would be f'ing exciting on the bridge, even if it were a 12-hr transient...) Anchors was '...'. I've no doubt the met will bounce like a .22 round off a Challenger2 tank; was merely giving an excuse for the doomongers to drop hur like hot potatoes.
GLA
sorry ; meant Thursday.!

Slip; look here for next Wednesday:

Brisk.
But no problem.
GLA
mr Toad, Retiree; agreed.mybe also worth bearing-in-mindthat LC may have been 'trimmed' dst time-wise so as to give WW a better chance of well dst vs the winter weather-window. Also that the rig was late on-site, if i recall correctly, and that WD had a sidetrack, all eating-away at the total usable time-in-field. They are possibly nw using thi s last weather-window to the max for data-gathering, 'coss next Wednesday looks like a howler. (First big test of the AM buoy's anchors....oops, shouldn't have mentioned that, another 10p off the sp by the nervous nellies..............)
gla
Slip (et al); what might one read into the hermit heading to the TOL, still about 40nm out and chugging merrily?
gla
this bb has definitely taken a turn for the better; twats and Toss-Facers called-out! Lol indeed!
gla
spot-on, pts !
gla
'scuse the butt-in, but are you guys discussing wosmet? If so, yeah, mid next week looks like good weather to hang the washing out.
Can't get to the geo thing tomorrow, maybe one of the bb posters will attend and provide some Dr T smugness/b-l-p-o-a-thistle thoughts.

Gawds sake: ' licking urine off....
Gla
Negative value on smg-Richter scale can be gauged by facial expression akin to 'a bulldog licking ****of a thistle'; hopefully not what will be witnessed....
