@chaebol - now you has so nicely corrected me that this is 10% of your portfolio, what are thoughts on the 'amazing' Insights disclose via twitter gate? ie.
25%+ free hash rate
very cheap viable old machines
extended life-span of all machines bought
$6k per coin cost
4.1+ EH in Q2 2022
and a bunch of other positive stuff.
In all honesty, now is a great entry point to this stock.
Maybe you should take a backseat and feel good about not being invested here...unless you have another reason for posting only negativity, despite there being positive things to talk about.
@chaebol - it's no longer 'us' when you have sold! Why are you still here posting so much and why are you ignoring the 'amazing' Insights disclose via twitter gate?

@mysteryguy - If PW cares so much about the hodl, as you state, why did he sell 61 BTC in Sept, as you also stated, when he could have raised capital or used the debt facility?
You can't have it both ways, right?
That describes my position. Also with this being a crypto play and the SP not moving with the market, even at a discount, the opportunity cost is starting to weigh on my mind.
The new website looks amazing, as does the track record, so it can they now give some thought as to how the SP can reflect the NAV and revenue?
Better investor relations (more interviews / pr) and increased market liquidity (eg. Nasdaq listing) would be a good start.
1. The 3.7 does not include the immersion cooling uplift.
2. PW has said that 3.7 is not the EH target for the end of 2022 - ie. he has said they will buy more rigs.
You are asking we rig texas out with NEW machines - the RNS highlights that old machines are highly profitable via immersion.
Also, PW has previously stated that immersion increases the lifespan of miners (as above) so the tutn over of machines will be reduced by c30%.
As such, there will be less need to raise as cash to buy new machines vs others miners such as HUT or Mara.
The RNS contains incredibly positive information, and aside from the specific nature of the RNS, highlights the long-term stategy of the management in going down the immersion route rather than the containerised route.
All excellent news and I will be adding more here!
Its a shame that potentially strategically sensitive information (immersion - EH uplift and viability of old machines) but these are positives that Riot and DMG will both already be aware of, so not likely to be unknown to their competitors.
Argo are brilliantly positioned to take advantage of immersion and are well positioned for the future.
Again, all excellent news and I will be adding more here!
Staking has a tie-in period I believe. So assets are maybe not a liquid as holding crypto but more liquid than many traditional business', agreed.
@mikeyinvester - 3 questions:
1. what price did ARB pay for their 20,000 Bitmain Antminer S19J Pro machines?
2. how many machines are required to complete phase 1 ie. 200MW
3. Based on your above calculations, what will the Eh equivalent be given the uplift via immersion cooling?
Thanks.
The new rigs are being installed, and have been since end of Sept with 1.7 Eh expected well before the end of the year, according to PW the CEO via this youtube video -
https://youtu.be/eQQgTQ56kFE
PW may have destroyed your sentiment but he did just raise $115m and someone is expecting to make a good profit on that!
For clarity, as I'm sure you know, ARB makes no money based on the daily / weekly SP so no compensation to the company is required.
The SP is the price that 'we' the buyers /sellers exchange shares and the company only benefits from a high SP when they create and sell new shares to the market.
I think many here are gamblers not investors. It's a question of timeframe.
ARB have a solid short term plan - 100mw by end of Q2 from an investors perspective and a solid immediate plan - circa 50% increase in hash power in Q4.
Seriously, the SP is all but guaranteed in increase more than 10% in the next 9 months (normally considered a good investment!), the problem is that 'we' want it to increase by 500%. As such, we should accept the risk / reward!! Many here need to grow up and be patient or get out.
Stop blaming ARB if unreasonable expectations are not met and / or invest in other miners to diversify. Failing that, stick to the casino.
NASDAQ is the 'source of truth' and this error could easily be killing algoriyhmic trading resulting the low volune and low SP.
NASDAQ is the 'side of truth' and this error could easily be killing algoriyhmic trading have the low volune and low SP.
I just sent this to - enforcement@nasdaq.com
Here's the text should anyone else wish to get this fixed -
Dear NASDAQ,
as the gobal leading technology stock exchange I am surprised to see that you are misleading the market (investors and algorithms) by inaccurately reporting the MCap of ARBK by 10x. They have an MCap of circa 700 million rather than 7 billion.
A ten fold error in valuation will naturally influence the market negatively.
It is vital and fair that ARBK are listed accurately, especially as they have only recently joined the NASDAQ global select market and trading appears to be negatively impacted as a result of this error.
Please fix this issue asap.
@skymonkey - Apple did post a crypto job a few months back:
https://insidebitcoins.com/news/apple-looking-into-crypto-job-posting-confirms-time-to-invest-in-bitcoin
This arrangement did seem quite unusual and it's a little concerning that performance fee are linked to the NAV rather than the SP, given that the SP is often trailing the NAV and this does not incentivise the board to move on from Aquis to a more liquid market which would help boost th SP.
Just my initial thoughts.
