Tumbleweed .............................................................!
Have a feeling the worm has turned and only a small drop and quick recovery.
I am going to hold and take the dividend
HELD, haven't got a clue what will happen. Gut feel is positive.

Here's hoping Echo, but sadly this management team are a pack of rescue Donkeys.
CA is trying to kick them to no avail and now it seems to me they cant even find someone to replace Pignato.
Plus no directors buying.
These aren't buying signs to me.
Dont hold your breath, these events tend to be a major let down.
Probably going to give Spin away, like so many other now successful subs. Oh and of course they will tell us how well they have done against their objectives.
Well people buying 50,000 shares maybe a sign of big interest or it could just be a few investors who target companies with directors buying.
Either way for me i need to understand when real revenues will be demonstrated or at the very least and understanding on the pricing for each sub service. For a management statement to say that they will grow revenue by 500% this year without stating the starting revenue is a joke IMO.
This management team have broken too many promises for them be credible to me anymore.
But ...... There are a lot of big companies invested so still think there is something there and would appreciate any views.
So for being so neg. have a lost big time with this co.
Likewise keeping an eye on the share price and may well get back in, but not sure at what price. I cant see the next few months going well without something dramatic dropping but didn't seem to me that was likely from the changes and the year strategic update.
Crystal amber extracting value at board level does sound compelling - but they must have been aware of the issue with Spin and starting to wonder if the main issue is in the subsidiaries and a lack of ability to deliver any revenue and therefor value, maybe they are just too many very bright PHD types who are very hard to manage and wanting to change the world rather than make money for shareholders. Adding this to the lack of any serious director buys at such lows levels compared to their previous buys is strange if there is such hidden value.
I think real traction in a market with clearly stated revenue is going to change the fortune of this IMO....... but where will this come from and when?
Assume you mean investor relations told you...
Well I have been a big supporter of ALM and the companies they have consolidated down to but after such shocking management time and time again I am unable to believe anything that they say. And just to add and cap a terrible year FW is now showing signs of weakness, unable to show or prove any real revenue and now in a battle with Google over the effectiveness of the ESC principles. “500% revenue increases this year” well from what base!!!! Not much imo..
How can we believe a word that comes from them, All they are interested in is keeping their obscene salaries coming in for as long as possible and not interested in delivering a brass farthing for the longterm shareholders.
I cant wait for the new CEO's strategic evaluation of the portfolio.... the last 2 of those went well!!!
Anyway lets all thank Jo for his tremendous efforts and dedication and await the arrival of the snout to the trough.
My blood is boiling at such incompetence.
What a joke, only now do they think to put any of these grossly overpaid idiots on the board of each of theses companies.
What have they been doing all this time, All this is going to bring for the foreseeable future is more disruption more uncertainty. And they haven’t even got rid of Pignato.

Analysts predicting over $50 billion in gross proceeds for the 5G spectrum auction
Can anyone confirm if we got to the bottom of FW involvement in the c-band for their SAS (or other) technology
Been here so many times, heading to a financial report with real hope that the companies have now delivered something tangible that the market can no longer dispute and then coming away with the Jam tomorrow comments from the CEO. Fingers crossed for us, this company is fantastically positioned just need to get the monkey of its back.
Interesting picking up on the thread re MM's and their tactics, I have no idea if any of that goes on (wouldn't surprise me) but todays trades at the same money same time and descending does look odd. Trading is very low also... is that due to a lack of sellers???
Thanks for the info Giggs, all good stuff. (particulary good to see Bridgecomm and Spin news)
Don't get why the market isn't picking up on these companies, what am I missing...??
"The company is mainly funding itself through licensing" according to the CEO, I assume by licensing its IP to other companies (ARM/Applied perhaps),
US trade war funding available to help push these types of companies on and to award US based companies contracts for new chip market and for niche production of military grade chips, massive bipartisan push by the US government to bring all this back to the US from Asia. (read up on the the AFA and CHIPS acts), "The company expects to be the sole US supplier of MRAM chips". Even US-based GlobalFoundries is making MRAM in Singapore, Sparkman notes.
Arm and Applied have validated their thoughts on the technology, by investing in the company and licensing Spin's IP/techniques to their products.
Bridgecomm's CEO has already announced similar ties ups and government contracts.
This list could go on and on.
Ok assuming the CEO's of these two co's are telling the truth, the market and brokers involved in this company (when doing NAV calculations) seem to think that Spin and Bridgecomm are worthless.
Just do not get it!
When the FCC granted the initial commercial deployments last year (i think) Fed announced they already had 40 customers that they had already been in advance stages discussions speedy deployment. We are now much further down the road and the CBRS licences have been awarded, you can see from the announcement in Arlington yesterday and the tie up with AWS and Azure for NaS, the snow cone device starts to address some of the fundamental issues with AI and i fully expect a load more innovations to pop up in the coming months, it should be a interesting 6 months for Fed....
Just hope they can demonstrate a clear revenue line and not just give it away, long timers believers in this stock have taken a bath and the management of these business's need to build great tech/companies/IP but also deliver value for the people who invested in them.
Thanks for the thoughts Loot you make a lot of sense and agree that we aren't likely to see significant revenues from Fed for sometime, I am hoping that there are some initial revenues that can at least give us and the market the ability to price the company based upon a cost model. Google have already mentioned their cost model for its SAS (monthly fee per connected device), and I think that the initial commercial deployments of 40 customers for Fed must show something.
Fingers crossed for a nice surprise at some point.
Thanks again.
Hi All,
Long term holder of ALM here (since 2015) and watched the chat for sometime but thought I would get involved.
For what its worth i think the reason the share price has dipped is purely to do with fact that the only trading in town is day/chart traders and the MM's and then the overall negative impact of tech stocks, nothing to do with ALM. As has been said the fundamentals haven't changed and keep improving, all three subs are perfectly placed and have real potential to take off massively. However for a step change the key is going to be concrete commercial contracts and actual revenues on the back of them IMO.
We have a steady flow of good news this year so my question is there any evidence that we can expect revenues in the half yearly announcement, or are we going to be waiting for another 12 months before we see that.
From memory first commercial deployments of CBRS were tail end of last year??
Would be grateful for any thoughts??
Glad to see the interims have been posted for the 15th October, what is the general view are we expecting to see any revenues from BC or FW ?
