Hi could someone tell me if this placing will give Tula a controlling interest? ie if someone buys all 500,000.000 that would give them 50% of the company?
This share is being dragged down with the market in general. Copper is not good during recession. However the funamentals stay the same. The company is fully funded and today we had twice the number of buys to the number of sells. This suggests to me that the people in the know rate this share as oversold. I intend to hang in there for a little while yet. Have faith in your own ability to pick a winner. It may take a while but great potential for those who are long on this share.
What is the story here with regard to the latest SLV rns re insider trading? Is something afoot?
Hi Guys, I've not experienced this before, I'm fairly new to the market. But I note there were over two million shares sold today and the share price went up 1.5% that seems a little odd to me. Any insight from anyone? Should I be buying or selling?
Hi Guys sorry to raise this one again but are we going to see a new bottom?
Does anyone know why Ruuki pulled the plug on this deal? I just wonder if some of the people selling out know more than we do?
A funny thing happened on the day that the takeover was ditched my calculator switched on by itself with 38.00 on the screen I had 50000 slv shares I sold half at 61.00 and second half next trading day at 59.00 I didn't think it possible at the time but I wonder if 38.00 will be the bottom out price?
The answer to your question is Ruukki Group is listed on NASDAQ OMX HELSINKI under the ticker RUG1V they closed today at 1.84 EUR you can do your own sums
best advise is go to ask .co.uk and type in company delisting. Fortress have managed to take over this company by the back door. Unlisted shares are very difficult to sell. Many institutonal investers are not allowed to hold unlisted shares so they will have to sell my guess is many have already. If you hold these after delisting you may have them for a very long time.
Ridge are dropping when everything else is on the way up? Even with their letter of intent. with regard to the Aquarius takeover. Read between the lines here guys I have just sold all of my rdg shares. I'm still bullish on these long term. But Ridge have hit financing problems and I expect them to be back around 25p soon. Watch out for announcements. Buy back at 25p
This is interesting if ridge is valued at net asset value (118 million according to 2007 accounts) it should be worth over £1.00 a share. I would welcome other views particularly if my sums are wrong.
Hi KP got in also in the mid 20's I think this will take until 2010 to really take off so there may be more opportunities to buy in at the right price during 2009 in hindsight I should have bought more. Been skinned in 2008 and too so now too timid. Good luck
Hi Guys are you still here? I've been looking at ridge mining for a long haul punt and figure they may have bottomed out at 20p ?
Hi paulluap I think you may be missing the fact that Mapeley's equity is falling at an alarming rate. My guess is that when Mapeley report next in March property values will have fallen so much that Mapeley will be close to negative equity. I'm with you and agree that the income stream is strong but the debt is huge. This is a very good even money bet you could easily double your money or just as easily the banks could pull in thier loans and you could loose it all. With regard to dividend my money is on a large reduction it would make more sense to pay off some the outstanding loans or hold cash in hand for when things get really bad than to give it away as dividend to the shareholders.
Fear is driving the price down way beyond the point that logic would price this stock. At the current sp 339.00 the company is valued at little over 100m The ft book price for this share stands at 16.00 and net asset value at 30/608 was 478m almost five times the sp cheap or what? My guess is that when Mapely anounce the next set of results on 6th Nov it will show a loss but this is only due to property prices falling. I believe the departure of the chaiman has nothing to do with the falling value. It has more to do with fear of perceived risk. The chairman has gone to work for the majority shareholder and is still on the board of directors. My guess is also that a reduced dividend will provide funds for a share buyback upto 15% which was approved at the last agm. This could lead to Fortress holding 55% of the shares Mapely holding 15% and the rest of us holding just 30% Then look out for the takeover bid. Fortress were in talks not long ago and at this price must look very tempting for them now.
Would you belive it someone posts some logical sounding bull***t and the price jumps 20%. 2500.00 by March? Believe it baby!
Does anyone have any idea why Mapeley's share price is dropping? They have net liquidable assets of 712m (2006 accounts) and the share price values the company at only 383.5m. Not only that but commercial property rentals will rise with inflation even if property prices fall so divi should remain good. It would then follow if property prices fell that Mapeley would be in a better position with regard to growth. I note shareholders are not running to sell as volumes are low. Other opinions Please!
