Ben people don't understand how retailers work.... They bank on selling a fair chunk at a loss and a fair chunk with a huge mark up.... It's literally the basics but they still don't understand.

Currently passenger numbers are around 80 percent pre pandemic levels including pent up demand from not travelling during covid, also including people using vouchers taken during covid....

The genuine passenger number must be in the region of 60 percent pre pandemic levels...

Next year all will become clear....

The cheapest way kamani could aquire shares would be to buy today on the open market.

Unhooked, somebody was suggesting that kamani could keep his shares whilst advising others to sell.

What you have pointed out adds to my point that a kamani takeover will not happen, a takeover offer here would have to be 3 times today's price to even have any chance of being accepted, if it was a kamani based take over then that would lead to Mahmud paying say 100p per share to own the same percentage of the company he already owns, it literally makes zero sense....

The talk of kamani taking it private does tickle me

It's as though people think Kamani can come to the market and say "we are not getting true market value as a listed business so i want to buy all your shares for cheap whilst i keep my shares"

If there was an offer to take boohoo private then every single shareholders would have to sell inc the kamani family.

The market rules dictate that no single shareholder can benefit more than another in the event of a takeover/buyout.

If you think kamani will sell all his shares and work for the company under a new owner you are nuts.
