You cant simplify something that is wrong and expect it to be right....

The total paid is all that matters when buying a whole company....

You have become consumed by the shares portion of the deal as until today you didn't realise that fluctuated.

What deflection?

Boohoo paid roughly

3 million (initially)

170 million cash

100 million in shares @ 330p

Giving a total cost of 273 million for 100 percent of the company

So at 650 p the share given would be worth a little under 200 million quid taking the total paid to 373 million

That does not give a valuation of 1.5 billion.

If they paid 500 million for 33 percent of the company then yes that would give a valuation of 1.5 billion - BUT THEY DIDN'T.

At 650p boohoo will have paid approximately 380 million with the increase of value in then share part of the deal...

How does that equal a value of 1.5 billion?
