Sellers gone, looking strong!
60p ++ ?

Surely inevitable at some point - could even be tomorrow morning if pre-close Friday is anything to go by!

"most people think im not invested"
Wasn't it you that bought £40k worth in the mid-teens some time back, or did you manage to minimise your losses on one of the spikes since then?
Seem to remember you were heavily down at one point
for next week?
There will have been many on the sidelines since the recent crash waiting for 35p entry.
Bottom repeatedly tested & held today.
Strong last minute rise into close bodes well.
Might just get that bounce after all!

The rise in SP last September left behind a 'gap' at 1.8p... Many technical analysts state that sooner or later gaps nearly always get filled. I've no idea why this should be so but it does indeed often seem to be the case. When the SP was above 10p this looked somewhat inconceivable, however it would now only require a drop of 2p from current levels.
Bare in mind that just 6 months ago (on 6th Sept 2018) the price was 1.58p... the only thing to have changed since that time is the Newmont deal and the fact is that without being privy to all the due diligence they will have certainly undertaken we can only guess as to whether they under-payed or over-payed and why. Their buy-in price hence seems a very unreliable barometer of 'fair value'. Furthermore for a company the size of Newmont they invested an incredibly small amount and perhaps this was simply to prevent OMI from going under until they had the chance to assess it (ie they were willing to write the money off)... Truth is that without such information in the public domain we can only guess and it is this uncertainty that caused an over-exuberant 'bubble' as people assumed the best and now drives the SP down as folk start to fear the worst.
In the meantime that gap is getting ever closer. If it is 'inevitable' that it should at some point be filled then in my opinion the sooner the better as we can then hopefully look forward to a genuine reversal and prolonged growth.

Thanks again for a speedy & helpful reply Ironic - it's always appreciated when folk share their knowledge with newbies!!
:-)
Just new to this share Bigbenchramper and it's quite hard to find the information when the board is understandably flooded with posts that talk about the SP rather than the nitty gritty!!

Is Widecells the actual company responsible for the research that led to the cure and if not how are they connected?
(I appreciate they do stem cell research themselves but am guessing there are patents or the like for treatment techniques so want to establish how they will directly benefit from this breakthrough)
I appreciate they can likely 'piggy-back' off increased interest in stem cell research regardless, but just trying to get my head around the likely extent to which Widecells can benefit from this development.
Thanks
Thanks for the helpful reply Ironic!

I can't find anything in an rns, on the company website or googling for news/info to support the recent rise.
Before the latest rns put a dampener on it, what was all the excitement about here please???

"I do a bit of day trading"
#confuseddotcom
If you're a trader as you claim then you'll surely understand that once a downtrend is identified it is in your interest to sell immediately regardless of what you paid as your holding is only going to be worth less and less until it next reverses. Traders will no doubt have been holding to see if the rise had legs for 50p but now it's heading for 35p it makes sense to take profit or cut losses before they escalate and then re-buy at the bottom. Rinse repeat, rinse repeat, rinse repeat.
I assume you use TA?
