i was only thinking of UKC because i thought the price was down. On second thought, i knew they they either an RI or OO, i was not too sure what the actual price should be after the offer nor could persuade myself if it was a good bargain at this price, hence i was reluctant to decide. The revelation of ATH settles that case perfectly for me.
i was eyeing UKC before now but i think i will stick with investing in ATH instead of UKC now.
my apetite is being seriously wet now!!! will let you know when i get in. Cheers oilbarron & all.
i will have to find a way to raise the funds for a small holding of about 5,000 shares in this. I com pletely stitched up by heavy losses in my portfolio at the moment. What price are you expecting this to reach before christmas?
please do you think this is still a good price to get in?
dummy realtime buys at 0.585p and sell at 0.51p since 08:20am up till 08:52am. Good morning all, good news is at least it has stop the downward spiral. If it goes down again to 0.4p and below, I will buy more, otherwise I am just holding what i bought yesterday. GL all. Does anyone hold CYH? I do not. just almost doubled this morning, confirmed takeover.
thanks but why did you not post this yesterday to warn people jumping in. Not that i hold any of this, but having been burnt na few things, i feel for people in jumped in yesterday.
I am very happy for you then. Congrats I would say to you becasue £20,000 is no small money at all. I don't know if my annual take home is near that, so the reason i was agonisng to hear anyone may have lost that potentially. Thank God it was a myth. Happy investing, and happy progit-making to you and all. I read him yesterday here, and he even answered some of my questions about PAYZ, but i was not confortable putting a penny in as experience has shown/taught me in the past.
don't complain. it was a risk you were prepared to take. nobody including the owners of the company can guarantee any. I have been sucked in like that in 3 or 4 shares in my portfolio and between 50-70% loss. So i have converted them to long hold from short term so long as any of them don't show the signs of going bust.
it was a blind risk i took. they are doing a placement at 1p per share. the directors reckon the diluted price after the placement should be 1p. but for some reasons, the price went as low as 0.2p today, and they release an rns to say they know of nothing why that should be the case. i checked their books and felt they may not likely go bust in another 6 months so i decided to take my chance. remember barclays earlier this year when their SP crashed and the board made a similar statement. i think it is just market and investors' panic and forces driving this down IMHO. i advise read their last 4 RNSes.
for once in a long time, i think i got this one right. already showing 10% profit on an investment of £750 today in this. it refused to go down any further for me to buy. i am happy anyway. let's see what happens tomorrow.
then i will laugh for once. my current average is 0.44p
on this around 4pm to 4:28pm if there will be any bargain
much appreciated. The live pricces are quite deceptive; at one time it was showing 0.4p to sell and 0.6p to buy; where a dummy sell was 0.25p and buy was 0.44p. If this company does not go bust, i think they will do well, otherwise the Board will not take this gigantic risk. If it makes the mistake of getting to 0.25p to buy, I will cut my loss elsewhere and buy more here. If it goes well, i will be laughing next, if it goes bust, I will run away to "primitive" world and become a peasant farmer. I hope the former is what will happen.
i like to know what the real buy price is, i do not have any cash in my account to try a dummy buy.
i have decided to take a risk, just bought 168,272 shares at 0.44p each. i am giving this till end January 2010 to get to 1p else it means i have wasted my money...
i have read all that, but was trying to understand it if it is a good opportunity to get in or not today.
is this open to all shareholders? or is it just to major institutional investors? if to all, what is the record date? sorry for my ignorance, trying to make a quick decision please.
i thought the placement had been done already? am i wrong?
is it worth buying at this price? or are they going to go down any further?
