AH was just a puppet.
PFC did not know or understand the role of "Principal Contractor"
It cost them £500m because the site was run by the client and PFC thought they were a Body Shop as that was the only role understood by PFC hence the reason for the disaster that was LT.
DC did not help in ABZ either and rolled over to every one of Totals demands as well which was the worst strategy.

I don't have anything good to say about PFC ,I for one want this saga to conclude as much as the next person,I agree people in Petrofac are suffering but its because of Bribery and Corruption not anything I say.

I was involved in the SGP and I spoke out and went to print before it even started on site and everything that I forecast was ignored to Petrofacs cost.In that clue I am fairly easy to identify both in ABZ and SHJ as "ML "will confirm and you should recognise those initials.
If you Employ people in role they should be empowered to have a constructive view,That did not happen in PFC what was issued from SHJ was right all the time and no one from ABZ was listened too.
If you work for PFC you will know this........
I fell sorry for people who as I stated previously saw there PFC shares as a nest egg at £10 per share only to see them in real terms as now almost worthless when it was part of your renumeration.

I only found this forum recently and I don't have a axe to grind with anyone else AMEC Fosterwheeler settled there DPA and yes I worked for Foster Wheeler as well who were always well known for giving bribes,Simon Carves was a other who indulged in this practice but regrettably they went bust robbing the pension fund on the way another of my old employers.

I have based on my assumption on the value of the Work won in th SFO case and a DPA to reflect this,I have looked at other DPAs for guidance but I don't see a specific pattern,so I see the range as being in the £1 to 2 billion band.
Inns worth announced the action the Share price was around the £4 mark since then its dropped considerably and again if they were successful I believe the £400 m could be higher.

I expect that there is a lot of people who have suffered a lot of hardship because of this share price.

But what about the people who were paid as part of there remuneration package with Petrofac in PFC Shares,at the time it was seen as good deal but today its worth a 10th of its value,they were not party to any Bribery and Corruption but are now suffering financial hardship as a result.
The SFO will be aware of this and Witness who were reluctant in the past to come forward are now only to eager to assist the SFO and others,thats a reality of this situation and again its my personal view.
So if my views are harsh in some peoples opinions I am standing up to Bribery and Corruption so as decent companies can win work and be profitable and thats my only agenda.

The UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO) confirmed that David Lufkin, 51, had pleaded guilty to eleven counts of bribery.
The conviction relates to “corrupt offers” made to influence the award of contracts to Petrofac in Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
The offers of payments were to influence contract awards of more than £2.7 billion in Saudi Arabia and £565 million in Iraq.
Mr Semaan’s family released a statement hitting back at what they perceive as an attempt by Mr Lufkin to shift blame from himself to Mr Semaan.
A spokesperson for the Semaan family said:“Following media inquiries, the family of deceased Petrofac International co-founder Maroun Semaan has expressed deep concern that individuals implicated in a bribery scandal may be seeking to shift blame to him.
“A confidential document purportedly from the SFO was drawn up after former Petrofac senior manager David Lufkin indicated he would plead guilty. Lufkin has not been charged with conspiracy yet he has named a number of Petrofac executives.
it was revealed that Petrofac is also facing the prospect of a £400 million payout to investors amid legal action linked to an alleged bribery scandal at the oil services firm.
Litigation funder Innsworth and law firm Keystone said that they are analysing potential claims and are actively putting together a group of shareholders to launch action against Petrofac.
