Newbieinvest: It’s honestly something I’ve seen a lot of lately with a lot of different shares: there’s a low SP, so people buy in expecting it to be the next Apple, and then when it fails to pay off within a week they get impatient and sell.

The good news isn’t earth shattering, and isn’t “we’re making loadsamoney!” so it prompts sells, and people think it’s better to lose a little now so they can throw their diminishing funds into another “sure bet solid gold TO THE MOON” stock.

Of course, I may be wrong, who can say, but I’ve got a few quid here and I’ve bought a bit more lately to average down. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and all that.

Oh, go on have a look through my posts. I did post a bit about HELD a while back(and got out with a little profit(not as much as I’d like)), and got out when ABDX peaked after releasing the Salistick. That was quite a good one, actually, as I managed to trust my gut on that.

As an aside, while I'm glad I 'called it', as it were, I do hope for those still holding that it'll rise again.

Mm, it's nice to make a few quid like that, especially when you have a gut feeling that it'll be a spike followed by a sharpish downturn. Saw it with ABDX and cashed out on a high, but got burned when I only managed to escape from HELD with my dignity(and half of what I could have made), so I'm on a slightly less risky(Or should I say 'careless'?) path right now.

And yes, I agree; we're definitely on an upswing, albeit a slow and steady one while confidence returns.

You know, now you mention it, it does get brought up a lot as an alternative that's "just about to make it big". My research didn't inspire me, to be honest, so I never got involved, but as you say; good luck to all involved.

Of course, while the economy is in the state it’s in, saying “We’re saving money and there’s no downside!” is a good look, so perhaps this is a great RNS. My expectation is that the SP will have a little drop of the back of it, though I’m in for the longer term so it’s not a huge deal for me, personally.

Ah, you never know, Trader90; could be a cheeky Friday announcement, the chattering classes talk of it over the weekend, and all buy it on Monday to thunderous applause, while we get three times what we put in before the end of next week.
