Truth always hurts, RealisticInvesto! Wait for my next post. I'm doing number crunching and will post it here for all your dimwits who don't understand what these bloody trolls are doing to CINE share price.
Ross is a snake who changes tunes depending on if he is invested or not. Just click on his name and see his history. Idiot is full of ****.
If one has time then a petition should be started to the govt questioning on the awful estimates that UK Health Security Agency did with regards to the need for Nightingale hospitals which were never filled at all but wasted tax payers money for that and how can people believe in the estimation of Omicron hospitalizations by the same UKHSA.
We have a Frontline A&E worker on CINE LSE board who has time for checking share prices but claim to be busy and working long hours in A&E! This should be added to the petition.
Mooky's company own 20% of the total shares. Their avg price is much higher. It is in triple digits as their purchases was all before the covid. There was a director purchase at 98p this year. Not a big one that was £15k around.
So Mooky will do everything to save his holdings. His family fortune depends on CINE share price. They were forced to sell 8% to fund the business in March 2020 reducing the holding from 28% to 20% but they still have 20% at a much higher avg.
Like I have been repeating, next 2 months Jan/Feb are the key months with respect to Omicron news.
Being Omicron mild, govt advisors need to find a balance between running NHS and the economy as any lockdowns will damage the businesses. NHS anyways doesn't want to see anyone unless one is about to die and Omicron did not lead to big number of deaths so far. I don't support lockdowns.

Look out for those big million trades.
The U.S. Justice Department starts an expansive criminal investigation into short selling by hedge funds and research firms.
Hope K2 with their little office gets closed soon before Xmas.
Not sure what your motives are for posting rubbish on CINE board. You don't want army of CINE holders to start posting with a title of 75p price target for RR.
All that you do is just put a finger in the air numbers. You said 140s only in 2022 for RR and you were wrong. You bought in at high 140s and now you are down by 20%. Why make clueless predictions?
LPD, we could have been in 80s now had there not been meltdown in markets. Money is still going into big tech firms in US. Not just CINE, many other companies share prices dropped. Not only the ones in travel and leisure sector but in other sectors too. Oil hit $85 but share prices of oils didn't go up. Builders down from highs e.g. TW. Media and Retail sectors down too. There is lot of money waiting on the sidelines. Omicron might fix inflation problem, I mean supply/demand issues. Once the overhang of Omicron clears, lot of money will be poured back into recovery stocks like CINE and travel companies. Once Jan/Feb are through, recovery will start. As market is forward looking so from Feb itself we could see the recovery in share prices just like Feb 2021. If Mooky can drop that US listing RNS then that can kickstart things for CINE. Need to be patient.
Good Morning LPD, I was just about to post that I booked tickets for Spiderman in the weekend 18th Dec with family. Persuaded a friend to join us so we are a group of 8 including kids going for the movie. Need to book for Matrix. Pre-bookings open for Matrix too!
The UKCA also noted: “Face coverings were required in all UK cinemas when they were allowed to re-open in May following the last lockdown, and are still required in cinemas in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. So if nothing else yesterday’s announcement brings cinemas in England in line with the rest of the UK.”
Vue chief Tim Richards told us today: “We have been encouraging but not enforcing masks for some time. I do not believe the new mandate to wear masks will have any impact on our business, particularly when customers can still have popcorn and coke with sweets on the side! Spider-Man continues to outperform any other movie for pre-sales. Our audience are desperate to come and see a great movie with us and are aware of all the additional safety operating protocols we have taken. There is still not a single Covid case attributed to a cinema globally.”
Spiderman fully booked on opening day next week in the giant 4DX screen in Wales, Leicester Sq and in Sheffield. Check my previous posts for the links.
One thing that is missing from the trading update was the mention of dividends. In the previous update they did mention that dividend will resume in 2022 if I remember correctly or is it 2023? Had there not been Omicron news, those flying hours revenue would have been flying. For almost 2 yrs now, the travel industry decimated because of the virus. One good thing is that countries have realized that banning the travel cannot prevent the virus to spread. Even pre arrival tests will not help either. Travel cannot be restricted and this was the reason Bojo did not mention anything about travel.
For RR, flying hours should get above 60% for SP to hit 160 and beyond. Dividend announcement another catalyst. Another new medium for revenue like SMR or Electric aviation. No doubt 140s will be seen again soon once virus news fades. I had a bigger amount at an avg of 130p but had to pull it out after having bought in March this year. Still have just 4k at 110p. For now, moving funds into CINE. GLA
Johnny, don't forget that last year this time we were in 50s with cinemas closed and it went up to 122p by March. Now with cinemas fully open across all the estates for CINR, repeat of last year from 50s to 122p very much on the cards.
Good luck with your short.
AimHigh will never buy and one day when this goes back to 60s and higher, he will buy at 75p if lucky :-)
No dramatic drop yet.
People will still go to cinemas even with mask rule just like in Wales!
Cine will continue making big money in US.
"We've been plan B in Wales since beginning of November.
We still do what we want. We just have to wear masks occasionally and show a vaccine passport now and again.
No biggee."
Danosaur, you are absolutely right sir!!! I just checked Cineworld Cardiff location for Spiderman bookings on 4DX, almost all rows fully booked despite the mask mandate in Wales since November -
https://snipboard.io/13DUz7.jpg
Only few seats left!!!
So today's mask mandate by Bojo is not going to deter movie fans from going to cinemas based on the above link to Cine 4DX! Just take buckets load of popcorn!
Goldy I was just about to use the same title for my post!
Yes, nothing *much* changed for CINE.
I have seen people wearing masks still to see the movies. Me and my wife were wearing mask just 2 weeks back to watch the movie and there few others too wearing mask.
Our main market is US, nearly 80% revenue from US and Spiderman numbers will be smashing records in US. With Bond doing good in UK and not so much in US yet CINE turned cash flow positive and with the December movies, we will make money.
Trolls who are not invested want to spread the FUD.
Despite whatever I write or what others write, there will be panic. I'm not selling.
Just remember, we were closed last year and still went up to 122p. I will post the advance bookings for the weekend movies like I did for Leicester Sq and Sheffield.
SMQ, I know this is your favorite topic but just answer my question - if you get into hospital due to covid and you have not taken vaccine then would you take booster later after recovering from hospital? Or do you still want to risk your life and go back to hospital when you are ill again due to reinfection ? You basically want hospital to treat you and hospital/doctors/govt should not blackmail you and should let you risk your life by not taking vaccine? Nothing but utter foolishness if that is what you want....
If you had covid and you survived without vaccine great but when you cannot survive and need treatment then find you own way to treat yourself, simples. Just don't bother to come to hospital or even go outdoor and spread the virus.
Hussar, that is correct. Plan B is not about shutting down cinemas. It is about mandatory masks and work from home where possible. No social distancing rules either. There is a talk of vaccine passports, which I don't think will happen either.
We are in a crisis situation where economy is impacted with lockdowns due to few who don't want to get vaccinated. If one has fears about vaccines then they should speak to their consultant and see if the Vaccines really impacts you or not. Just because there are side effects due to vaccines doesn't mean you can make assumptions that you will be effected too . If you don't want to get vaccinated then don't come to hospital for treatment. Pretty sure all those non vaxxers once admitted in hospital will agree to take boosters, which they could do even before admitting in hospital.
You are comparing apples and oranges
When travel restrictions did not stop Omicron spreading several countries why do we need more restrictions ?
NHS overburdened? Number of deaths on Sunday was 54 and on Monday it was 41 despite everything opened up! Those who are not vaccinated and visit hospitals for covid treatment, just make them pay.
In my opinion, NHS never worked efficiently. Even bloody Boots pharmacy staff take ages to serve whenever I go to collect my prescription.
There should be a management person in charge at every location and in every department and each staff should be assessed on their performance with a review done every 6 months. Set goals on number of patients to serve, set SLAs on response time and assess each staff based on the metrics and then you will see the performance improvement of each staff and overall performance improvement of NHS. It is ridiculous imposing lockdowns because NHS is getting overburdened.
Engineers are sending robots to Mars and getting images of celestial objects that are of astronomical distance and our NHS and medical professionals are still struggling to improve. It is just ridiculous.
PM: 'No decisions' on Plan B will be taken without consulting Cabinet
Asked about reports the UK will move to Plan B shortly, Boris Johnson insisted no decisions will be made without consulting the cabinet.
William Wragg, MP for Hazel Grove in Greater Manchester, said: "COVID passes will not increase uptake of the vaccine but will create a segregated society.
"Very few will be convinced by diversionary tactic."
The PM said: "No decisions will be taken without consulting the cabinet."
