"Not at all. We only had approval to issue 96m shares. We had c. £9m of demand from IIs and part of our short term strategy was to bring them onto the register as will need them for the eventual build fund raise. A broad mix of investors is paramount. That has now been achieved."

I'm also in horizzonte LV and have sympathy, sometimes investing in smaller companies feels like one kick in the knackers after the other, and yes PIs are treated as bottom feeders.

EML has behaved no differently than other companies, compared to some I thought the price of the raise wasn't too bad, but I guess that's conditioning for you. Companies must feel somehow that it's cheaper overall to go to people like Shart Capital (not a typo). So my beef wouldn't be with the company but the system.

What can we do as individual investors? The only thing I can think of is to sign up to things like primary bid and let the EML know we're signed up.

Good luck everynody and just like the previous raise this will soon be a distant memory and we should be sitting on a much higher share price.

Everybody reacts differently, dilution was always on the cards to raise money and we were even warned there'd be a raise. I think HL had said they'd try to get it at a premium which they're clearly not doing. Compared to some raises it's not to bad.

It's all about how they use the money they get, if they use it to get us a higher share price, then it's worth it.

Nobody likes dilution but mines that are funded on debt alone are rarer than rocking horse poop.

Everybody will have their own view on this, it's a necessary evil.

The price could have been worse I guess, the company had said they were hoping to raise at a premium but I guess that's not happening.

Nobody likes dilution at a lower price but you've got to roll with the punches.

Looks like they're moving to AIM as well to cut costs and be more nimble, not sure how the markets will react to that.

It's a quick book build as well.

We're getting diluted by selling shares at 5.5 to 6p, and raising about £5.5 million in the process.

You sound like you might be a bit of a rock head ( a compliment for those unsure), advanced geology is a bit of a mystery to me, although I'm learning more every day.

Any thoughts on the accuracy of the using scandium / copper ratio and how that fits in with the readings shown in the company presentation.

All thats happening is some people have been rattled by the raise at 7.5p.

Some people might even think it could go to that (I personally don't).

And there's likely another raise coming as part of the final funding package, at what price I don't know, but what I do know is I won't be invited to take part in it, so give or take a few % the price today is likely the best price I'll see. Hence I topped up today.

As you can probably tell, even though I'm out I've been keeping an eye on this one. If funds come my way from the sale of ARCM and the price is right, I'll be putting a tiny bit back in here. Big ifs though.

There are rumours that a group of investors called the 10 baggers are starting to buy up shares and might well be trying to force the current board out at some point (if not SC then certainly NW). If I had any spare cash I'd trickle a tiny bit in.

It could all be BS though.
