Some time ago Deep Water (previously Integumen), was working with both Aptamer Group and Avacta (Affimers), but I seem to remember that they proceeded just with Aptamer Group.
They issued an RNS but can’t locate it.

The Professor Ruth Plummer link at Newcastle lists AVA6000 as one of two trials recruiting.
A bit ambiguous though as the clinicaltrials.gov website that still says Newcastle is ‘Not yet recruiting’. Perhaps they’re still not quite there yet.

I sent an email a few months ago to Neil Bell regarding a friend who has terminal cancer, asking if he might be a suitable candidate for the trial.

I received a response from him shortly afterwards but unfortunately his type of cancer was unsuitable.

He added that the best way forward regarding trials is to go through your doctor.

Just typed Avacta into the text box. The first 3 entries show submission dates of 18 August.

Avacta has been stressing the benefits of LFTs over PCR in identifying those who are infectious from day 1!

Actually it’s for a vacancy not vacancies!
