Shaikan Payments Update
Gulf Keystone confirms that a gross payment of $53.2 million ($41.7 million net to GKP) has been received from the Kurdistan Regional Government ("KRG"). The payment is comprised of gross $43.5 million ($34.1 million net) for Shaikan crude oil sales during January 2022 and gross $10.7 million ($8.3 million net) in relation to the arrears from the outstanding January 2020 to February 2020 invoices. Following receipt of the arrears payment, the current outstanding arrears balance is $8.4 million net to GKP.
The payment for January 2022 sales reflects adjustments proposed by the KRG to pipeline tariff charges, which are now linked in part to Dated Brent. The total payment also includes a one-time gross adjustment of $1.0 million ($0.8 million net to GKP) related to a backdated pipeline tariff increase for 2021.

SULAIMANI — The leader of the Sadrist Movement, Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, announced his congratulations over the formation of the new "Saving the Homeland alliance and the tripartite alliance’s candidates for president of the republic and prime minister of Iraq on Wednesday (March 23) in a twitter post.
"I congratulate the Iraqi people for the announcement of the largest bloc and the news of the candidates for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, Sadr announced.
Sadr stated the move was a unique step forward and that he hoped the national majority government would form with no delay.
The Shia cleric said he hoped the national majority government would be an administration capable of coming through the challenging situation facing Iraq and for the country to rise again with a clear government program for a set period in time that would be acceptable to the public.
"I will not stand by if the previous tragedy is repeated, even if it comes from someone in my party or in others, Sadr stated. "I am with the people only, this is to please God and my conscience, and I will not deviate from reform and the prestige of the nation.
The leader of the Sadrist fraction in the Iraqi Parliament, Hassan al-Azari, announced earlier on Wednesday the tripartite alliance between the Sadrist Movement, the Sunni Muslim al-Siyada Coalition and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) have nominated Rebar Ahmed as a candidate for the president of the republic and Jafaar al-Sadr as prime minister.
Disappeared as it was completely unfounded. No way would they have been given information like that. I’d like it to be true but wouldn’t be too happy that they were given inside information
That took a while!
Have you not bothered to read the RNSs before investing?
