BigD, the way I see it, Amigo are up against it with the claims they will have to pay, not sure how far the claims go back, 2018 has been suggested. If that's correct I think this SP is low. If not and the claims are huge then amigo and it's business model may struggle and 7p looks expensive. May even get/have a buyer.
I'm in at 9p av. Gona let it roll until news. I will either lose my investment or make multiple times my stake. This will play out relatively quickly.
As always Vauch, patience is key to make good profits. If the tech works this will be much higher than 1p. I'm hoping for Xmas for some spectacular gains. As for today, I really don't know what the reaction will be to speeding. Would be very encouraging to finish 0.9 or above indicating the speeding ticket hasnt dampened down short term appetite for this cracking investment.
Omg, that's a huge amount on this, fair play for showing your hand. I don't have the capital or the balls for that!!
I have no doubt you will make unbelievable profit on this, just when is the question? And how comfortable are you with paper losses? I don't think AMGO will go bust regardless of FCA outcome or Covid slowdown. If a TR1 drops stating a buyer this could rerate in a flash.
Ive been thinking the same Hillman. I'm out of this at as of Thursday. Am really thinking of getting back in at some point. But....
JBs tweets read like sour grapes towards 90% of shareholders(who voted against him),Hamish and the other 2 BOD leaving soon. And I have a feeling he might be saying FU to everyone and running the SP the ground. Seems crazy to us when you can command much more for his shares but hes probably already very wealthy and proving a point may be his driving factor. Something just dosnt add up. The new guy appointed the other day has given me some faith this can be a good investment.
Another director buy?, If so I think it's a positive move for the rest of us showing confidence
The insurance side of the business seems solid. The customer base is less likely to be financially affected by the impending slowdown. I think the trading update said 70% of bookings dates re arranged. Apparently loyal customers.
Surely 16p is a good price
I'm not invested here, but am looking closely. Obviously the future of Saga depends on the speed at which they can operate again and then the numbers who book tickets. No idea on when they can sail again but after observing people's actions after lockdown I'm sure cruises will be as popular as ever. If they can get through this period 16p looks attractive to me and worth a punt. The potential reward here is very tempting.
Yes, I did this morning!! Looks like I will have to change again and ask for more too
Agreed Terry, this hasn't bounced back yet. Surely 12p a share is doable this year??? Things are opening up and will continue too. Local lockdowns look like the way forward now. And with quick accurate testing starting to be manufactured, you do a test and in to your live event
I hope your right Tony, would be a decent way to finish this week. I think we will remain flat today, dip this morn followed by the inevitable FOMO in the afternoon
Seems that Omega are ditching possible avenues where time and money are required for definate avenues that have recently become available. They must be confident to write off 8m to go for it. I've bought some more as I believe they will be flat out suppling various countries very soon. If the margins are decent then this is surely undervalued
Another 250k buy this morning, someone's building a nice position here
