The rns on 5Nov says that the 288Mt of tailings averages @0.3% Cu, which indicates that some may well be less than 0.1%. I guess it is about quantity. The company are using $4000/t cost and I wonder if this is based on the 0.3% figure.
It will be interesting if copper is reported similar to PGMs where there is a table showing: tailings processed v ounces produced v revenue v earnings.

Hi Legalwolf, a pretty good summary of the situation. Entered at 3.65 and was fairly relaxed until I was caught out by the placing. These levels have allowed me to average down into the 2's and still working on it. Apart from the placing not too much has changed since I invested, just an extension to the timeline. I didn't hear anything new in Alan Greens summary on stockbox the other day, so for me the investment case is the same. It's just waiting for it to happen and average down when I can.

Interesting article about a company looking to extract copper from waste in US, targeting 2023-24.

Cmrs from about 24m, Alan Green was an early shareholder and thinks the Jlp involvement may have been in place prior to IPO.
Got to say I read the article and to me it says that JLP is currently at fair value 20-25p (same as WHI & ST) Chance to kick on with new news to 33p. I read it that, it would need to drop to 13p for the company to be seen to be in trouble.
Great summary of the current position JLPpos & Shorn. 6-7 weeks to FY operational update which I think we are anticipating will be significant.
I had an email response from investor relations in March confirming 6monthly operational updates with supporting news rns's as appropriate. Rns's have started to come through with specific news flow. A quarterly update was mentioned in STs paper, so maybe he knows something we don't?
