What about it’s shareholders ?
Any problems will be blamed on Covid so a true picture will be so difficult to understand.
Late September
Heading that way ????
Ismalia, I concur. Also he was the only one left with industry operational experience and thus no doubt had the skill set to add true value at this pressing time. From what I can see, with his departure & Mr Nolan now gone, I see no existing board experience that has weathered a storm in this sector..
Strange one that.
I don’t think you’ll get much of a response on this stock. They seem to have all disappeared since the SP/market crashed.
Probably no choice atm. However, a lot of investors of this stock have been sticking with it for the divi payment as it’s value has been in decline over the last few years. Probably stuck with it now. Or cut your losses and recoup elsewhere. There’s some bargains out there.
Having spoke to a few other finance houses, it’s a bit of Armageddon out there atm. No one wants to pay!
Doubt writing new biz will be on the agenda.
Time to possibly cut costs according (staff etc) and batten down the hatches?
Agreed, this needs total clarity and transparency. A subject so important to the finance sector (bad debt) needs to have a simple explanation for all investors and not left to management freewill.
Keep it clear and simple, not this complex.
Intrigued to know what’s made you loose confidence in the management team?
Meg-pricing. Just looked at note 30 (I guess this is what you’re referring to) re bad debt. There appears to be a miscalculation here. The provisions don’t appear to add up to the value of the funds due/outstanding. Unless I’m missing something. Any thoughts?
I have bought more too, it’s finally the right time for them to bounce back!
Not sure. But on the basis that everyone thought it was seriously undervalued when in the 40’s, you might as well get the crystal ball out ??
Both directors of the asset finance side Bradgate Business Finance. All on Co House they resigned 31st May.
It it time to top up ? SP appears to be a bit of a lottery and there’s still a few sales going through
Seems a very heavy fall. Is there something else underlying here which the like of us don’t see ?
There’s been a lot of recent director changes in this company and I wonder if these have been a jump or push. Some don’t seem to get an RNS for some reason - they only seem to announce the appointments and good news...
You have to start asking yourself what’s going on with this company, it cannot maintain a SP at any time, good news has no sustainable affect and there is nothing to indicate an upward turn in the near future. Not one for me in the future, I suspect underlying issues as the sector in general is performing well.
This is such a risky Share. There is no consistency to it performance and imo it’s a total gamble. On the basis that there’s been lots of positive news and the company has seen massive growth, yet it’s SP is at a 5 year low, I’d pull out now. Bad news could sink this...
This is intriguing... An earlier post mentioned that the trading businesses haven’t yet filed their statutory accounts, yet the PLC has. In looking at this company in greater detail, I also note that 2 directors from an aquistion made last year have since resigned..? (Bell Finance) but with no explanation. I wish I had a proper angle on this stock. With regards to SP consistency and stability, it appears to be out of sync with results and news. I’d like think that a further purchase would be a good bet, but can’t make my mind up. Any thoughts...?
I think it’s because there is nothing positive to say, scratch the surface and there is no substance. I can’t see this changing. Time to read between the lines.
I have followed this company and share profile for some time and cannot see them ever being a strong performer, there sp is never sustained for longer than a day or so. Looking at the sales others agree.
Very true comments here. This is not a good bet in my opinion. I struggle to see where the SP growth can come from if not influenced by good news/results. I have to read between the lines and suggest that more cute investors do not see this a good punt.
