Press conference took place at 8pm Local time .
"FM Hussein indicated that a high-level delegation headed by the Iraqi Oil Minister is conducting serious talks in Turkey at this time, and the start of dialogue on cooperation at the regional and international levels at the negotiating table there."
Above we have identified source, the other article has someone speaking anonymously,as they did when they were announcing Erdogan's visit "next week".
I am not too optimistic, but if Bloomberg couldn't be trusted, how is Reuters seen as a reliable source of information?
Rudaw article states the same, so looks like he is officially there.

Will see if there is any positive outcome,we can only hope there is.
Really?I can see the whole UK energy sector in red,so no wonder that troubled company like GKP will go down the most. Current situation will continuously creat lower highs and lower lows until/if there is positive outcome.
You need to go back to elementary school to learn how to read and understand what you reading, then maybe try to talk to your school peers as mom shouldn't allow you on the forums where grownups exchange meaningful thoughts and ideas.
I don't but you obviously do.If you know so much maybe you could tell me how Kurdistan, that agreed to their quota of 400k bopd will fulfill their obligations without the IOCs to get their share of the budget?Like I said their should be compromise reached between all of the parties and that's how it looks to me judging by the KBT tariff being mentioned.Since June or July KRG hands over over 50k bopd say 60k divided by 5 as that's how many members of APIKUR is there it comes to around 12k per member and let's clarify I don't know ,I am just trying to figure something out,but Y'know so please tell me.

What kind of news ,if any has crossed your mind? Defaulting would be a bad news ,but there is no debt,if there was bad news regarding the contracts etc. all of the parties involved would have suffered the same fate ,I am talking DNO,Genl etc.So what bad news?It was violent price action, something like this is to be expected when the company have slashed dividend or has made public offering.Do they need to issue more stocks? So many questions but so little answers.
What I find interesting is the shareholders in Genel ,there is Rothschild with quite a significant stake in the company at around 7.6% as well as Turkish oligarch Hassan Gozal at 16.6% ,while in GKP there is hardly even any insider heavily invested or at least officially they hardly own any shares of the company. For my little brain is a sign that they believe in the positive resolution and future of Genel, which should be in turn be a good sign for GKP as it is in much better position financially with no debt whatsoever.I might be wrong.
According to this article ,it is Iraq/KRG who don't want to make the oil flow.I am only getting more and more confused.
"Upcoming visit:
Iraq is eagerly awaiting the upcoming visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to engage in discussions over a range of shared topics between the two neighboring countries. At the top of the agenda stands the critical issue of water.
Observers speculate the possibility of a potential exchange, wherein Kurdistan resumes oil exports through the Turkish port of Ceyhan in return for Ankara's cooperation in releasing water from Turkish dams. The latter, which have curtailed Iraq's water share, have recently sparked public and political backlash."

Can anyone elaborate on this ,I have managed to translate it ,but to be honest I don't know if what is in this article is good or bad for the current situation.

Really? There was good news and so there was some price action accordingly, today there was bad economic data coming out of eurozone and all the markets have reacted.Price action is spot on if we look at the chart ,have never seen a stock that was only going up,did you?It is clear as Sun that it wasn't Turkey who decides when to open the tap anymore ,but Iraq and now as Kurds started to comply with Iraqi's directives the tap will be open, in my opinion quite soon.
