RE: Free Market Research10 Nov 2018 11:59
Update
Having asked 38 people "What is a TallyMoney Card" in town this morning, the majority responses were along the lines of, "something to do with debt", "for people with poor credit", and "benefit payments". Not one reply was anywhere close to it being a debit card.
The sample range was male and female, aged 18 to pensioner, poppy sellers, shop managers/owners, and coffee drinkers.
Completely unscientific, but it gave an indication about perception of the name. Had similar research been done before the current name was accepted, I would like to know the sample size, actual questions asked, and demographic.
Based on the above, with the usual caveats, it is suggested that an expensive marketing campaign will be required to change percetption and make "TallyMoney" the must-have debit card.
