I've kept my gob shut for an age here but what is the problem? Slam shut valve failure, shrouded perforations or "fluid" in the main stem? I'm sure (maybe positive?) that all will be ok once all paperwork is sorted! Imho.

Ps, I should have said that any large amounts of liquid lifted over the well will be taken out of the main gas delivery line by way of a series of knock out pots (Kop's). Interesting bits of kit if you look them up! Well for silly old buggers like me anyway : -)

In my landfill gas days , if a well is left dormant for a while liquids can gather in the bore. It can be lifted out gradually by applying extra vacuum that can be applied at the plant or by using mobile fan sets. It causes the flow to be turbulent on delivery, as I say that's just my take on it in from a landfill methane experience.

I have worked on gas wells in the landfill industry, a well can have gas in the chamber and the surrounding ground but it's all about pressure and volume. Apply the smallest amount of vacuum to collect it and it goes very quickly, reperf or perforation of a new area on the column could help of course if the gas volumes are there to gather. Am I right in saying that the board have said that the drill maybe in a compartmentalised area of a bigger source?? Just my take on it imho, cheers!
