MM's have a huge impact, they create the market by price, giving investors either a will to buy or sell just by their pricing.
how many times with no news you see a SP climb purely by the price being raised giving investors the belief that its in their interest to buy, you see buy after buy, only to see the share tank later in the day. and vice versa.

seadoc. I see that off-book stuff a lot. ' probably as accurate as the state of a buy and sell flag. and yes i see it on london stock exchange. still don't believe 1/2 of it.
