The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
I tend to agree ... the only mention of a tailings dam is ... that there will not be one as it will be dry stacked in lifts to the specified gradient.
Unless there has been a radical change of plan or geography surely talk of a 193M tailings dam is for another Board and not SAV?
Dry Stack Tailings
The Project has been designed to optimise the sustainability and environmental features of the
Project by recovering co-products from the feed and by dry stacking tailings and so eliminating the
need for a tailings dam and reducing the overall footprint of the operation.
The filtered tailings from the concentrator are trucked to a tailings stack located south of the
proposed concentrator site. Bulldozers and compactors are used to place the tailings on the stack.
The Tailings Storage Facility will be constructed in lifts to a stable, overall slope of 3H:1V. This
construction method will facilitate final reclamation, revegetation, and closure of the dry stack TSF.
Any runoff from the TSF will be collected in sedimentation ponds and pumped back to the process
facility for reuse. The use of dry tailing stacking is more labour and capital intensive than traditional
tailings dams which has resulted in some slight increases in CAPEX and OPEX compared to similar
sized projects.

Muldoon, sorry to see you go.
You have to draw the line somewhere and I had noticed your comments on the forum were getting more and more frustrated.
Thank you for letting us know your situation and thoughts on SAV.
All the very best with your future investments.

Just keeping an eye out till 19/07/18 re Warrants et al for other possible dips.
These prices are as suggested lower than the latest oversubscribed placing comprised of LTHs and Institutional Investors ... can you join the dots?

Salvegrumio,
I was with you on this one but nevertheless sounds rather slack of Moz Mining to only start the clock after a 'break'.
There again maybe they use the Oman Model for Applications? Lol
It will come when it comes .. meantime running out of ideas in 'Eye-Spy'.
Cheers all

The Authority said that during the ceremony all the technical and financial aspects and added value to the sector will be disclosed.

I tend to recall comment concerning an offtake for Concentrate and would suggest an Omani connection as Oman is desperately looking to add value in country rather than export Cu concentrate .... see the Sohar copper Pipe factory which should be coming on line in a year or so. This stacks up with their diversification away from oil dependency and imo key is adding value to minerals where possible. The hub and spoke scenario proposed by #SAV would fit in well to develop two mines initailly whilst exploring and licencing others in Oman. This again would sit well in Oman wider Copper strategy ... all they need to do is consider the Lasail smelter to complete the circle of adding value in country. All in all happy to get any potential objections out of the way now looking forward to PAM, hopefully Dr Durair (spelling?) connections will help :o) Go SAV go >>> GLA Sam
It has been alluded to in several occasions and quoted by SAV ... a wider copper strategy for Oman. I woukd assume this is currently being formulated in conjunction with MDO, the long awaited but still Draft Mining Law and PAM along with the Royal Decree to diversify from Oil which is looking topical with development of EVs. Still a wait and see for me but SAV are certainly in the right place with Cu and Lithium ... HMS prices have climbed if late and the Mutamba Monster just needs to be let off it's leash. Still here Bertos et Al turning out like a Fellowship from Tolkein after such a long journey but I see progress and in the right direction >>>> Onwards! BTW The Iceberg nice to see you back on the board Good Luck all Sam
