why is there such big difference when buying and selling

in Small cap

Hopefully it is some positive results, the market at the moment is touch n go with covid situation

GOG has been re-shuffled to fts all shares now

I think in this time around with certain stocks like RDSB,RR,BP will be given the chance for the public to build up portfolio over longer time, patient would be the virtue here

When is this share reshuffling from FTSE 250 I read it somewhere this will be out of FTSE 250 in September?

Market is uncertain at the moment but people behind it they know it all, now is about rich getting richer and poor getting poorer. many involved in the stock market have to be patient

The brokers are seating there to make money for them self one week the recommendation to buy other week sell, when the virus hit the world no broker was predicting that now it is all a mind game, far as i am concerned people should invest in quality company's with track record this is how how people made money during big market crashes. Market should be for long term investment.

There is talk of nationalisation well as general crash of the market look at informa they were 4.70 about a week ago now 3.77

I think many shares are coming down generally with the down trend mostly the mining and defensive share is taking the ftse up at the moment, it just feels like everyone is panicking about the second crash I get the feeling it is happening as we see the this volatility.

I bought at 12.25 thought about selling it at 12.88 but held on to it now it came down quiet a lot i would have liked to top up but cannot afford, my view is although they are mainly fossil fuel they are in strong position to divert to greener fuel with the resources they have and they know that very well.

@anon3 I think the US market is optimistic about airlines industry as lock-down is easing down

I just sold some today after buying at 97. the market is volatile it will go up and down I think only worry with stock is you never know when to hold and when to sell.
