Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
I actually thought Mark was very clear and concise in the interview. The presenter sounded like she was on school radio right enough. The message was clear enough to me...kettle controls the cash cow...water filter the growth area....coffee products the next string to the bow and the next revenue driver. Solid company this one and the cash generatiion allied to a nice div gives plenty reason to hold and reinvest those divs for a nice long term compounding return.
Well 2% is not quite back to the 50’s Trek! I, like you thought the update was good. Maybe a bit jam tomorrow but with the majority of the Grassi revenue still to be recognised and the start of the greysorber toll out happening H2 tomorrow looks that bit closer now. Happy to hold (if not happy with the SP) and after today’s RNS I am fully expecting this to get some momentum eventually...and like our Tyres when it starts to roll there will be no stopping it :-)
OMG how low can this go? I didn’t in a million years think we would ever see these prices again! Guess I called that one wrong. Just a matter of holding on for dear life now, ignoring the horrible paper losses and hoping the BoD somehow turn this around. The resource is there, the plan is there and we are already spending money to get it out the ground...for all that to be in place yet the SP on its knees is almost unbelievable, but I suppose without final financing that was always a risk. Gawd I hope we get good news soon...this day by day drop in the SP is torture and no I’m not brave enough to add at these prices even although I still believe we will get there in the end!
Totally agree JJ...a smart move by the looks of it. Will take time to move the needle on the bottom line of course but look how well they have done on the water filters, no reason we won’t see similar success in the coffee collaboration.
Gawd, that can post can only be described as pathetic. If you somehow have the time and rather odd inclination to be a troll you could at least spend some of that time learning to be half decent at it. This board really does seem to attract some bizarre types....it’s a bit concerning that there is so many people out there with the time to waste on such crp. But if it’s the work of only one or two people forever re registering and playing as a different troll then that’s maybe even more worrying! All very weird behaviour whatever the answer is. ‘Mon the 801...lets rid ourselves of these pesky trolls once and for all :-)
Madness indeed! And yeah it’s kind of a watching from behind the sofa time just now.... Clearly PI’s are mushrooms here in what plan B is but I’m pretty certain KNDC are not going to be it. I’m still hopeful our existing iI’s will ride in and provide a big slug of the funding but at this moment in time who the hell knows what’s gonna happen...
Another II adding to their holding...and finally the SP has nudged upwards. Clearly their is significant integration risk with PHD but I’m hopeful that the recent II buying is a sign that the company is making headway there. Expect a trading update near the end of the month so would be good to see a bit of a rise into that..
Thanks Cad. I'm still hovering over that buy button but I'm also still scratching my head at the size of cash burn v revenue....it's going to take some heck of an inflection to get that sorted. Although the China deal looks just the type of progress that's needed. Can you tell I'm conflicted on this one? ;-)
While I like the technology here and can see the opportunity of the huge market I can't for the life of me understand how they are burning though £25m+ in their operations. I've read the latest results and still don't fully grasp where these huge expenses are coming from, there was also a clear warning that they would look to raise further funds this year. So while I would like to invest for the 'story' and their slow but increasing market penetration I'm reluctant to do so without a better understanding of why the cash burn is so high and how the company sees that being reduced. Anyone willing to assist me in getting my head around the losses?
Maybe the biggest announcement of the companies history and what do we get? A board full of bickers! Anyway re the news I’ve got to say I’m rather excited about it! Sure there are lead times and the usual financing to sort etc. but the message here is the massive validation of the technology to replace coal powered peakers. Not anywhere but in one of the most advanced countries in the world. Genuinely brilliant news for RedT. This is the company making market as well as being a huge step in validating the technology. OK this particular deal will take some time to come to fruition or show on the bottom line but that’s really not the point today.
Bumper update would be nice FK! And surely surely this time there will be some positive, unambiguous news on progress on the deeps. You get the feeling that this will pop massively if and when such news does arrive but then again I also get the feeling that for one reason or another the update will be the usual good / bad / just you wait a bit longer stuff so defo not predicting this will be the one we have been waiting on!!
The world of message boards is a strange one indeed. This one has had a number of rather odd posters over the years we have been waiting on A5 to flow! Dave is uncannily like Avsome back for more weirdness and just like Avsome should really just be ignored.
Loading up yet SP falls back?!?
Thanks I’ve. 80p seems reasonable...mid 60’s not. It always useful to remember what the BoD paid as well and iirc they picked up the KNDC shares just north of 70p. I honestly see that as their bottom and just won’t give a huge swathe of the company away for less. Hanwa are the key player here and of as you say it was only 2-3 of the II’s that scuppered the placing then I’m keen to see if the existing II’s (Blackrock for example) and the others that were keen to get a slice of this action will come back to the table. Possibly on bespoke terms on pre agreed values. All still to play for and despite desperately wanting to get the financing in place Insuppose we just have to trust that the BoD will do right for the shareholders and if that’s a delay in getting the financing in pace then that’s a delay worth suffering.
And now Teslin over 13% with a million more shares. Some excellent long term holders on the register and a tasty boost to the SP as well. This share has languished in my bottom drawer for too long to mention but it looks like it’s time to dust down the share certificates and start counting the paper profits...with the good news being that this is just the start of the ramp up from a corporate perspective. A JV or royalty based overseas accoya production facility would be my next big milestone as it’s pretty evident that Arnhem alone is simply not capable of providing the volume required. As ever capex will be the issue for any expansion and dividends are a long way off but none the less this company finally seems to be gaining traction. As I said though it’s been a long old wait but it’s even more of a buy and hold than it was previously so these can live in my SIPP for some time yet!!
Oh dear....was always a risk I suppose but I’m very surprised that this didn’t happen, there would have been substantial leg work put in prior. Gonna be an interesting day that’s for sure, maybe time to hold tight and buckle in.
Great news this morning raising money at current SP with a long term holder. New capacity coming online and JV progressing well should hopefully see the start of a long term rise in the SP here. The available market is still massive compared to what we can service so still plenty of work to be done.
I’m with you bluegrass. I would expect the ii’s who are partaking in the placing to be taking part for the long term and at a price range that was (within reason) already agreed. The antics of the SP due to PI’s misinterpreting this corporate action as playing into the typical flippers game are largely irrelevant to the whole process I would suggest. But hey no one knows for sure so we’ll just have to wait and see...
