Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
It's clear they don't plan to release a RNS to say CTA accepted as it's already happened and updated on there website. Seems like they will release one when they can share additional info to go along with it - question is what info?
Lot's of views on when the licensing deal will happen. I've been giving this more thought of late and for me I don't think we will see a deal until after phase 1a is done. Couple of reasons for this, maximize return as Sar are confident on getting through these early trials with all the tweaking they have done. Secondly and one that didn't appear obvious to me, even though covid is not a priority they still mention it with every update. Anything covid related can result in a grant as well as fast track.
I asked a question in a previous Q&A whereby I asked them if they would license to multiple vendors but they said no, they would license the molecule to 1 vendor only. So if they were to license 1801 now, they have no control over testing it for covid as this would then fall under the responsibility of the licensee. So for me, they will get through 1a, explore the opportunity for covid and fast track and only then will license it on.
I am happy enough waiting. Been here for years and another 1-2 years makes no difference to me. Exciting times ahead
Question 4 from the Q&A - We are in regular dialogue with GSK via our partners at the Cancer Research Technology Pioneer Fund. I don't think this would be the case if GSK had no plans to continue with the trials. It's a matter of time till we hear news. Apologies if already posted
Is it just me but Sareum previously stated that they will not announce the indication till after phase 1 trials. What made them announce psoriasis now? Who are they saying, look at what we have, what we're doing. If you don't act soon then you'll miss the chance. Exciting times as this time next year we WILL be many multiples of where we are now
Market is strange but for most of us it doesn't matter what happens today. More so over the coming weeks and months. I am particularly pleased that the GMP part is complete as last time they mentioned it, it could have been delayed.
Upwards and onwards
Afraid i'm out too. Sold my holding at 24p. Good luck to you all
Not even sure why I am wasting my time in answering these questions but my take on them.
1.where are the deals - anyone invested here with research know deals take time and it isn't just about securing a deal at the earliest opportunity. I for one want a deal after phase 1 as to maximize the return we can get as I am VERY confident we will fly through phase 1 trials.
2. where is agile - I believe the company have said they need to get through phase 1 trials before taking this further.
3. why would gsk buy sierra for 737 when nobody seems interested in it - I don't think anyone genuinely believes no one is interested in 737 where it has aced everything to date and there has been a lot of positive press about it. My take on this is GSK have got a low ball offer accepted and why on earth would they even mention 737 in the takeover press release as it will only raise eyebrows and increase the price. I believe we will know the true intention as to 737 once the takeover has gone through.
On a final note, all this talk about being long term investors in Sareum but continuously only post negativity makes no sense at all. Why talk down your investment. Questioning is good and posters like Potnak have raised valid points in this respect but there are clearly others who are here just to disrupt. If you're still holding in say 2 years I believe you will be significantly better off
