I am sorry that the Dream of untold riches has disappeared into the etha but my position is one born of the reality of gambling.
I am still a holder although am now convinced only a miracle will make the situation come good.
I bought relatively cheaply and risked what I could afford to lose.
Of course I am hopping mad I didn't sell in the 90s or on the way down. I was convinced the gas would flow and I was greedy. If, (that big word) I had sold I would have been looking at a nice £100Grand profit. But I didn't! I was stupid not to have followed my gut. The only person I blame is myself. But no one else was to blame! It was all my fault. I hope eventually to get some of my money back but I won't be holding my breath. Good luck all holders, I wish you well
Thank you for your reply and your continued informative posts. I have no knowledge to contradict your facts and figures (whether cut and pasted, it matters not!) but from what you have indicated, my confidence in the Sound bod has strengthened my belief. I am now more hopeful of a good LE.
Thank you for your excellent post re stimulation. Your posts are informative, however, some on here accuse you of subtle deramping. How do you answer these accusations? Your last post seemed upbeat and positive. Do you have an agenda here or are you being altruistic with your informative posts?
Well, speaking for myself, nobody forced me to buy Sound shares back in 2011. I decided to have a punt, expecting to lose the lot so I gambled an amount I could afford to lose. I sold half on the way up at 47p which paid for the remainder with a surplus so I had a free carry plus a a sizeable amount of cash. However, I had no ISA arrangements (I didn't think I'd needed to worry about a capital gain) so I took up my allowance's and sold/ bought at 93p and more when price and time allowed. My point is, I could have sold out at 100p but I was greedy so missed the opportunity. My fault, I'm afraid but it was a Gamble and I made the decision, no one else.
I'm just about at break even but lesson learned, never invest in Aim again!
I still think James is our best bet to get us out of this mess and he is still keen to finish the job. He wants to finish the next two wells and sell the company. I believe he is our best bet to do this. I'm staying. I also believe the expected GSA will arrive shortly and some optimism will return once again. GLA
My word James has had a right old hammering this am.
considering the relatively small % of shares traded over the past months, how on earth has our SP been manipulated downwards to the extent it is now? Surely the volumes (apart from JP's dealings in recent times) are too low to have any material effect on holders confidence. Who are the people powerful enough to 'bring it down' and on what evidence? I think this is a case for Holmes!'
drjenner, I too hold a six figure sum in these shares but did de risk when they first saw 47p going up. I'm of the opinion that the apparent weakness is the result of fear. Predicting the SP price is a non starter. I think it's fine being an optimist so long as you have good reason to be so inclined but the time is fast approaching when the point will be reached and the question asked, is there gas or not? So far I'm still on the side that says Yes. I haven't heard yet to the contrary so I'm still not concerned about the outcome. Things can change in an instant so my attitude is 'if rape is inevitable lay back and enjoy it! I'm here to the end.
GLALTH
Trellis, as I told you, my reality is that this is a yes/no play, the SP doesn't bother me one bit. I sleep well at nights.
I guess you'll have a headache in the morning, Reisling, ughh, I can't think of anything worse! Lol,
Trellis, this is a binary play. It will either happen or it won't. That's my reality but I don't moan about the SP every five minutes.
Pray tell us what is your reality that you keep on about that the rest of us are unaware?
Once news begins to show we have real quantities of gas, presumably the SP will begin to rise to reflect the success and general outcome for the LE. That would be a sensible point to sell enough shares to give one a free ride to whatever follows the planned drill program. £2 or £3 early on and who knows? Maybe £5 or more for real success.
A nice problem to have. I wonder how long it will be for the faint hearted moaner's and knockers to appear criticising everything but the kitchen sink?
I have absolutely no sympathy for those Lillylivered so called investors who couldn't stand the heat in the kitchen and have sold up after some of the most disgusting posts on this bb from people who should know better. I'm sure this company is on the way to proving all the doubters wrong. I hope they stay away from this share and I want them to feel foolish at looking a gift horse in the face. The childish tantrums from some of them (they know who they are) are just unbelievable. In a war some of these turncoats would be shot!
So Jezz what waz all the Fuzz about? All the venom directed at JP just because he sold a few shares! Now I expect you and your friends are feeling a little foolish at what has happened today. Most of us have seen this many times before and just stayed shtum. It's better to be thought a fool rather than open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Now go home have a nice glass of something and chill out. Be ready for the next crisis, you don't get this type of reward without a great deal of anxiety!
