The 'plans', and all 'plans' are just that until they actually happen are for first wave of supply September or October, that's four to five months away, earmarked for the Uk and US.
They don't know at this stage whether it will be successful and they equally don't know whether it will react in a way that offers immunity for any mutation.
The countries that GDR are targeting with far larger populations would not receive any vaccine, based on the current 'plans' until 2021, so that's six to eighteen months away.
The 'planned' two billion doses, running into 2021, would only cater for a quarter of the global population, as there's eight billion of us globally.
I don't see it having any effect on the continued need for tests.
