farmer,i hate gold and wish i could stop myself trading it,its just i find it fascinating but dont understand it,i dont know how f430 does it,i just do very small positions as a play because when it goes it goes.
double revised myself there,f430,were all getting it wrong ive just gone long 1575 on the 1h candle, which timeframe do you use?
ive long suspected the fed makes money from revised nfpr revisions, the debacle today convinces me even more, great fun though.
morning all it was really interesting watching maggies documentary last night, few things id forgotton about, blair was very gracious earlier on but why let idiots like hatton and gerry adams have a very unbalanced say.i had a year out of work with a young family under maggie but then things got much better,i never held it against her,but how things change, the job i was doing then and still do now has a massive shortfall,re trading, that apple deal thats still running could have been scary,i opened what i thought was a modest position but because of the high share value, which im not used to with sb, it was a lot more than i meant, only a very short green candle well up,just a relieve it wasnt the other way.i seen you guys have a lot going on with cey, some big moves one way and the other.
Agree about being lefty,as I've got older ive actually reverted a bit to the views I used to have,I believe the basic principle of socialism is sound but not really in practice, too many takers.
Yep farmer, I as a young man voted for her,but became bit more of a lefty as I got older, still a fantastic states person.
wow, well done farmer, been on 12 h shift today so missed most of the fun, been posting on barc that ive been buying the dips on dow, pleased someone hit it,bought apple at 8.30 pm went mental with volume and movement ended up taking profits with 50% now thats a proper daytrade, its bang on a possible inflection point, and like the way took the profit but left bit running, good for the physce even if stopped out.
just gone long dupont.just that gap resistance at 4870ish looks to have a say,and if not ever close stop.
paul, just posted on BARC board that the yank large caps dont look to be to bothered by the rhetoric on the news, looking at a US indice long later if looks good.
farmer, your being very patient with cey and buying the dips, looking forward to the day its all sorted for you, paul im reading your posts with interest i do have the odd go at a yankee, thats if im sober enought in the evening to trust myself.F430 sold 50% of the gold at the WS2 1576,interested to see what criteria you use for taking partiall profits.
farmer, yep just missed out so often in the past by a fraction to then see it go great,as i said i dont do many limit entries, ive been at work and away from news,pc etc and had them filled only to wish they hadnt been when i found out the reason, gold been a swine to me in the past doing that.if you read this F430 enjoy the rest of your break,im still watching and learning.
morning all, woke to nice suprise,i dont really use limit entries on gold because as we know they can fly past and take your stop virtually straight out,but it hadnt reached my buy entry at 1570 by the time i went to bed i set a what i thought very speculative buy order at WS3 with stop not to far other side thinking should be quite safe, anyway filled at 1564,so lucky i didnt stay up late.
if F430 is active i know he will be looking to get in gold after this huge move,im looking at 1570 thats if it stalls.
gold, what a bonkers thing to trade, the long from thursday was taken out overnight by a 3 point trailing stop,i never leave gold unattended, and was dissapointed to have only gleaned a 3 pip gain even though it was a rather large position for me,then look what happened this afternoon 20 pip drop, scares me to death,i dont know how F430 copes, anyway daughters left today so back to golf and dealing, weather finally not so grim here in grimsby.
oh and gone in bit hefty for me long gold at 4h 8 oclock candle.
hi all just finished couple of long shifts, daughter and grandkids coming over for easter from out of town, maybe golf on sat, biting wind eased here a bit,see the indices still not listening to lots of folk and nibbling up,ive actually spotted a possible short on spx on one of my lay lines if it gets there after easter, happy easter break all.
paul, will take a lookn when i get the chance,f430,cleethorpes which boarders grimsby and believe me it is aptly named at the moment.sold that second lot of dow just the third lot running,i know ive said it before but doing that after seeing f430 do it has been one of the best things ive learned from these boards,it also mentaly works for me.
morning should have been playing today, but as i said yesterday im bang on the north sea coast and the strong wind is as cold as i can ever remember,so catching up on charts instead, brief visit from f430 on barc yesterday so hes ok,these aim shares you post dont show up on most of my chart searches, you must do some serious reading to find out about them, caught dow yesterday on the dip and banked part profits, that indice is definately becoming my favourite instrument now that aviva threw all my studies out the window after the massive divi cut.i keep an eye on cey with fingers crossed for you and F.
To cold to play here ,we're on the North Sea coast, gale force ice cold wind,if f430 is active today he would have loved the gold volatility ,the markets really don't like this, and I don't either, playing havoc with my stop loss policy, may have to take a back seat or very small play positions in future when it looks a bit iffy.although I have gone in on a few favourites in the last half an hour hoping was just a dip.
Easy bailout loans a thing of the past now by the look of it,re the ruskies farmer wonder if there's a bit of retribution because they never came to the rescue.
