Indeed, as we (I) said many times. This has been addressed over many years.
Whether this gains traction in all media outlets will depend on the agenda.
The electorate in the Bahamas has pretty much always voted governments ‘out’ opposed to ‘in’ from an emotive stand point. Bahamians will never truly trust their elected which is why they flip-flop between the two main parties. This scaremongering of oil deals, licensing, missing consultation etc is purely a play on that emotion and the bases of why they left it so late.
The ‘environmental issue’ has been dealt with many times over the course of the past 5 years it was the bases upon the new regs being enacted along with the sovereign wealth fund to be mutually beneficial to all of the Bahamas.
These structures have to be drilled and will be.
Papa was the only real one with the stick to beat Christie with and all he does now is moan about how great the FNM was back in the day when he ran the show.
...Because it made such a difference when the PLP were elected in a landslide in 2012?
Wry smile for that one Ross.
Lets hope the Dutch Elm can now flourish the fungus has been treated.
Sure. The old management and plan that was in place just to keep the lights on.
Little Johnny is playing in a different field now with better equipment.
Ross, you do know what a CPR is for don't you? As you know, we (BPC) paid in excess of $50m for a 2D/3D survey and subsequent CPR to be performed in the Bahamas which was 'contingent and theoretical' until proven. Well... that next step to start to prove out said CPR is about 16 days away now.
Surely even you'll agree It (the latest CPR) is just another positive step that was needed to be done on the road of enhanced production and oil recovery in all other assets. Dead wood has been cut adrift.
The CPR is the next gateway to either step on or step away from and goes to prove that P1 is being used to showcase the CPR and other assets.
I'll agree that P1 is the key, and IMO it'll be Potters swan song to walk. Be nice to add a Swan to the zoo he's slowly pulling out of his @rse.
Tomorrow.
Can you send me the link please Harry? I’d like to read it.
Have either of you (Harry or Star) actually read the EIA? Suggest you do.
EIA says different and you can’t really argue with that.
Planning, preparation, prevents p1ss poor performance.
One of the first thing BPC sorted was the maritime boarder even before the Seismic.
The CPR will be released as and when its ready, Nathan said it was due to be completed mid November, that's slightly different to when it'll be released.
They'll be using P1 as the platform to showcase the CPR.
We're in excess of 1 nautical mile... so you can add a few more to the 4B.
Well done Potter and team. Looking forward to visiting the zoo (those that know).
Well... that was emotional.
*consultation. Fat fingers.
Oh right. You were just providing a video of the QC going to court on something unrelated. Got ya. Thanks.
If they are pinning this on lack of consolation . That is incorrect. Check the BPC website.
If they are pinning this on ship change. Highly unlikely based upon ship availability as long as its 6th Generation (up to the job) and the EIA is a working document.
If they are pinning this on spud date change. Working document, plus force majeure.
I'd take it a little more seriously if it had or was based on real fact/s and/or merit.
... but I thought he had wood for the pre-drill?
aaaaand? I could put a video of the house of representatives debating the gambling bill and it would have as much to do with BPC as the video you just posted.
Its nothing to do with us - why post it?
