Anyone thinking of attending the AGM? I've been to few since circa 2012 I really want to hear about progress - the circa 2500bobd isn't going to make a difference imo I want clarity re: 1. Court case 2. PG and those pesky pumps - incl costs 3. M and O farm out - level of interest 4. Pguay farm out - level of interest 5. Pguay - what happened about drilling P'guay by hook or by crook 6. Lack of share purchases by BoD And on it goes
There is an expectation of this news, also its a material event, they'd have to and want to RNS it It shows progress, however slow But we're all expecting this news, as such i don't see any significant increase in so - why should there be, oh, we have finance and 1st oil is still 6 years away.
I wouldn't read too much into these job vacancies, yes PMO will continue but ar what pace - 1st oil is already pushed to 2024. PMO only spent £8m on SL last year - is that commitment??? They have to satisfy a convenant with their bankers by Q1, 2019 - so presumably won't be taking/signing any big deals pre this. imo, PMO will stall a bit longer until either they find a farm in partner or until they generate sufficient cash flow. Also imo, PMO need to do some kind of deal on Zama, why be at the mercy of Pemet and end up in 2020+ with a smaller % ownership of the Me'hi'co discovery We definitely need impetus here, but further LOI's are glossed presentations won't effect the sp, I'm not convinced funding would do a great deal Regards Oht
ii's new format is unworkable, unreadable so expect more posts across LSE anyone expecting anything pre the AGM? we've had years of 'potential'

No amount of fairly positive news shifts the sp, Overall positive, only because of the new acquisition. Disappointed in; 1. Those Chinese pumps at PG obviously didn't work 2. Legal case = no mention 3. Farm outs - hmmm, be good to get some idea as to the true level of interest 4. P'guay drilling - it's 2019 now - whatever happened to by hook or crook
Ignore Malcy, He just cuts n paste's the RNS's Sends out on his Twitter feed a positive spin on his 'Top picks' No deramp there, just falch Oht
Ogrod subtle deramp - lol My initial feeling was - yes ok, good, it's months away = no known results = no movement in sp I don't deliberately set out to deramp - but I've followed this for years and years - in which time I've been to various presentations, a few AGM''s, e-mailed and called the Co various times. I think I know this Co well enough to comment and gauge what will make the MCap shift and today's RNS wasn't one of those If you want a more positive set of comments re: PPC, see my posts from 2011 to 2015 on iii, where i post as Ohtaxes - however for realistic ones see post 2015. It's obvious that 3kbopd isn't doing it, neither will 4kbopd or 5kbopd - we need 10kbopd a settlement of the P'guay drilling fiasco and BIG partners with very deep pockets to invest in Pguay - that's news We need EBITDA at PL's $40m+ etc For anyone going to the AGM, I'll see you there - hoping for eats this time Kind regards Oht
April 'Op update i assume Won't effect sp though
Red'r Appreciate the response and agree with your comments Fingers firmly crossed
Correction - Malcy has never anything 'negative ti say atb Oht
I'm assuming we're all ignoring 'Malcy' - he never seems to have anything to say about ppc (or any of his other 'top 10'). For me; 1. Paraguay farm in NOT happening soon - or it's still in the very early stages? 2. Increased bopd not having an effect - this due to a number of factors; dislike of Argentina, positive cash flow just being re-invested (good for us - II's not interested), no market/appetite for AIM oilers or not sufficient to put pressure on demand for shares. 3. Court case - not the best unresolved issue for an AIM Co's 4. Levine's interviews aren't having an effect We need an easy to read detailed report for II's to understand and significant news flow. We'll be ranging 9's to 12 otherwise To close on a positive we've 74% notifiable holdings, junior oil trust has a few as will others, followers of Levine and Jeremy Collar etc. Been in this for yrs - seems may be a few yrs more...........
Paraguay, I'm guessing they'll drill H2 as stated. I believe it's a condition of PPC's farm in to the licence. I assumed that the initial delay in drilling in Paraguay was trying to find a farm in partner to fund it as part of a series of drills as opposed to just a one off that they contractually have to. Unfortunately a Paraguay farm in isn't looking likely, is it? They better win the case against the drilling services Co. Regards all - loooooong way to go
Mike 'Netbacks' means the 'profit' per bbl - so PPC are earning profits of $33/bbl on gross sale of $64/bol Thus cost of producing that bbl = $31/bbl Need newsflow and needs to be big
Be good to get an update on that article in Econojournal, if there is anything to report Also what happened to those Chinese pumps at PG
Thanks for the post, appreciated I think we met at the HUR agm in 2015, i't was on the same day as the PPC agm, which you couldn't attend Followed PPC since circa 2011 - a series of under-delivering, whi'ch in truth has been beyond the control of the BoD Volume isnt high - and sp will stay low for at least a God few months Bought 500k shares @ 6p earlier this week, so still blindly awaiting for results here. Kind regards and good luck all Oht
In my opinion - source is good Falklands Investor. Guy knows the score. This Zeb's an appraisal - ppl saying 32m net pay - it's on CS's twitter account.
