Low carbon hydrogen is most definitely a growing industry but as I have said many times before, green hydrogen is by far the most expensive version so blue will take market dominance, and red/purple and turquoise (do not need electrolysers) are more attractive than green if Nuclear energy ramps up. And yes, many private firms investing in green may get burned, but Linde for example can take the hit, their stake in ITM is only 0.05% of their Market cap. I would imagine most private equity has done the same by allocating a very small percentage of their capital towards green hydrogen, the rest is all conditional government loans, paid for by us, the tax payers.
