My specialty and what i've built my book on is looking at highly distressed assets with signs of a turnaround. Recently, I've done AGL and PIII on nasdaq. So, this is a little different, but same all in all. Are they on the cusp of a turnaround, potentially. Also, I've done similar work on LOT (lotus), also listed on us exchg. Lotus are going through a very similar process, and it's clear, both need to focus on the very high end, and ditch everything else. Asset sales, leasebacks etc.

Management explicitly said Q2 was the quarter where they'd finish clearing excess inventory and get to "smoother operations in H2". See if they stick to this

One correction to the framing though: these are high-yield bonds, and high-yield notes typically pay semi-annual coupons, not quarterly instalments — so "Q2 instalment" isn't quite how the cash actually goes out the door, even though the underlying annual burden is real.

You have to favour the upside potential of both now imo. big backing is good to see. often, about sentiment with these tiny caps

Looking like GILD are backing the merger, potentially, deal will be upped, at least in terms of the private placement.

Worth noting, they state in 'non exclusive talks' meaning, there could be other suitors.

Your best hope is, another player enters the fold. It's pretty cheap barrier to entry for anyone looking to beef up their pipeline

The combined pipeline + private placement as yet to be named price, makes POLB attractive here? The discount, seems extreme
