Absolutely!!!
Thanks that's a really helpful and constructive suggestion, well worth making, although perhaps the cesspit has filled up a little more now!!
Sorry to say this but this board has become like a cesspit filling up with verbal diarrhoea. The standard of the overall contributions are to put it mildly, excuse the pun,BOGstandard.I appeal to those contributors who are, because of their thorough research regarding the real progress of the company able to provide real genuine and helpful information regarding the building of the mine.So please the likes of Myo and GK try hard to put up with the stench and give us your most valuable contributions. Please excuse my use metaphors to make my point.
Last year around this time when all seemed to be going really well ,I wondered how the big guns when they felt the time was right,by hook or by crook would "steal" the shares from LTH pis and I put this question to this b.Most of the answers stated that this would not be possible if you refused to sell.True but over simplistic and not taking into account basic human weaknesses. However as a result of the reaction of many pis to the latest rns I believe I have finally got a more realistic answer to the question I asked, depressing as it is.Nevertheless I personally still believe in the project and as a determined Yorkshire man will fight on!!! GLTA fellow shareHOLDERS.
An open offer is similar to a rights issue but it is only possible to take up or let an open offer entitlement lapse.Whereas it is possible to trade or transfer rights issue entitlement in addition to taking it up or letting it lapse. The offer we sxx shareholders have received is of course an open offer.
Hope you are right Pt but the old saying "where there's a will there's a way "and i suspect that these big guys know most of the ways.
casual-The shares are here now even though the mine is not built yet. Their what I want to defend and make no mistake the big guys will be after them well before the mine is built.Sorry you missed the point of my question.
I have a substantial holding in sm and have every confidence in the ultimate success of this business. My biggest fear is how best to prepare for the inevitable future invasion of the big guns when they feel the time is right to by one means or another relieve us little guys of our long held shares.I wondered if some of the more experienced and knowledgeable members of this board might give some indications as to the various tactics these concerns may use to get what they desire so we can put up some sort of effective defence. Thanks in anticipation.
Can we please cut out all this political cr8p and concentrate on the main event. The rest is just verbal diahghoreah which I can't even spell!!!!
Is it likely that the latest decision of nissan at Sunderland and the subsequent loss of jobs in that region might encourage the government to look again at its support for the SM. project?Your thoughts?
Looking through the sxx buy orders this morning I noticed that between 08.06am. and 08.54am.10 buy orders were made all being for 99.49k shares and all at different prices.I am at a total loss as to how to explain this.Just wondered if anyone on this board could offer an explanation.Look forward to possible answers.
I'm lucky too to have a friend who has given me the winning lottery numbers for next week. Its good to have friends!!!!!
Surely its commonly known that unless you believe in miracles ,the bigger the potential gain the bigger the risk you must take.Im in big time here and am prepared to take the required risk because after doing my research I can live with that risk, simple as that.
Just wondering what the name stands for".Perhaps No Obvious Knowledge Especially Share Associated" Just a thought!!
I firmly believe that there will be no meaningful lasting rise in the sxx sp until the big boys decide the time is right and that time in my opinion will not be until we are much nearer to producing a sellable product and to paying a dividend. In the meantime they will stand back and watch the pi panic buy or sell as the market manipulators play their games and make money at the same time. When the big guys decide the time is right they will organise all kinds of fear stories to unsettle the loyal lths. I for one will never fall for this tactic.Ihave a considerable holding in sxx, have done my homework and will not be deprived of the ultimate considerable prize coming my way by the powerful come by latelys.Hold your nerve if you truly believe in this.project.
I posted yesterday asking the more experienced and. knowledgeable among us if they could list the possible reasons for the recent drop and erratic behavior of the sxx sp.No one came up with the possibility of some being in possession of price sensitive information.Perhaps we are all too honest or naive to suspect such a dastardly state of affairs. To me this is nothing less than a criminal act,and a total disgrace and makes a mockery of careful research before investing.
As a LTH of sxx with a considerable holding I am totally confused by the seemingly illogical movement of the sp over recent days.I know it is impossible to be absolutely accurate in reading the market but I wondered if some of the more experienced and knowledgeable ones among us could list all the possible reasons for this bizarre behaviour.
Fred 16 That's ok as long as its not the big dipper!!!
SpruceGoose2 your reply to my original question was to me absolutely to the point and explained to a simple sole like myself the basic potential problems and the likelihood or otherwise of them being solved in an understandable way,and for this I thank you. I do appreciate much of the information given on this board but have to admit that sometimes it can be too sophisticated for me .Nevertheless ,thanks to all that try.
Fred16 my sentiments entirely. Thanks and lots of luck
