So based on this email we can expect NOT to get an update for 4wks .!!
If Foo makes a statement with a clear time line . He should recognise that error and correct it in my opinion, but I believe in ethics.
A couple of weeks hasn't happened?!
Now there maybe a reason for the delay, but then that should be communicated and that's why I have a problem with Foo.
The shareholder is his Boss and in a way his customer and that is not the level of communication that is acceptable. Never over promise under deliver, but Foo does this all the time and the markets have their faith tested.
With hope of good news to come feeling a tad more positive, however still have concerns over the conflict of interest and the lack of alternative markets and the direction of the country and the company
Every opinion has value it is up to each individual to determine that value.
In my opinion in business you should under promise and over deliver.
Any views?
conservative would have been a more appropriate word. I hope gains of 100% also with a holding closer to 390000 and I am also tempted to increase further.
I am not questioning either calculations, but rather the commodity price in particular Zinc, with which the supply I don't believe has or will be fixed in short term and the price currently has had an over correction due to Trump, but I may be wrong my wife tells me I am all of the time.
Well if Director thinks it is a good buy at £104.25 (40,000) it makes me even more keen to buy a few more and having read Skopoltiis (Thanks for the estimates) which is fair assessment (some would say pessimistic) I need to challenge my level of risk exposure.
The biggest problem is the lack of diversity Foo, place all his eggs in one basket and didn't use the time given via the contract to develop the markets he had promised and then dropped the basket, hopefully if/when the contract is re-established the focus can be on a diverse market, but his record suggests not and he needs to resolve the conflict of interest for his own share value along with ours
Lets hope rodlin. I was at the beginning very bullish in my optimism with £2 a feasible medium term goal, but as I say short termism is having a long term detriment on the confidence in this share in my opinion.
I always wish I wasn't so greedy! After selling half of my shares< I am seriously contemplating buying back in just don't tell the wife
Having bought in and seen a growth up to 80p with what seemed to be a great investment opportunity. I stupidly increased my holding and have stupidly increased again, with a break even of 42p I am still hoping on news. everything suggests this is a great opportunity, but the reliability and of the management and Government and the additional conflict of interest with Foo this is for me a problem and even makes me contemplating selling.
The elephants in the room are devaluing the worth of the company and the value also to the elephants .(BANANAS)
As for all the bickering please stop ...every opinion has a value and it is for other to determine what that value is!
Really surprised or disappointed in the low market reaction to the licence. I appreciate Zinc is at a false low, however this is the golden egg and would expect to trade at 180 to 240. Your views ppl
Noticed Chinese dragon was perplex at III and wondering where everyone had gone was hoping he would turn up on here with his insight.
I was getting a tad worried this share was tanking and fully believed another drop Friday, so was glad to see a redressing of some of the fall, my expectation is £2 and above with dividend in place in July, but I have had fingers burnt many times with griffin over the long years invested.
The New license sees a whole new ball game in my opinion and would haope for some definitive news (Positive) on this in 2018.
I see far too many people objecting to other peoples opinions. Me I am happy for as many opinions as possible on vog or others. My opinion for what it is worth is with the renewal of the contract Vog will hit 60-80p and this seems highly likely. The fragility though of the business is down to poor management and putting all the eggs in one basket and the lack of leadership and greed is having a seriously detrimental affect on the value of the company.
My hope is with this current crisis( and do feel it is a crisis), the galvanisation through necessity will be it's success.
foot note the comment from the board " that it isn't the time to resolve foo's rip sorry rewards" is ridiculous this is the perfect time at the companies lowest value (Not for Foo)
Please show respect to all and I wish each investor success unless it is detrimental to mine of course...
Poor investors just seem to get poorer with VOG, shame the board don't recognise the need to reflect their own remuneration in line with the results.
Another migrator from iii, although never posted, always read with interest posts and good to see gailes5 and Sageman (true sage)pop up on here. I have been with GFM since year dot regretted not selling when it hit 120 many years ago, worried when they shut the mine and then doubled my holding at 26p three years ago hoping to get back into profit and dreaming of a good return and sold my original holding at 130p, but still hold in my ISA ready for the dividend. I hope to see other posters come over always enjoyed the banter
