It's the old story Cowichan - I think it was a Mark Twain quote. -" A Gold-mine is a hole in the ground with a liar at its entrance" - Mine management is a travelling circus, they seem to flit between mining companies, picking up 'Golden hellos, large salaries and bonuses in between before picking-up a 'Golden goodbye', moving on to the next mine for a rinse-n-repeat. Like bumble bees flying from flower to flower. -
On the day when WW3 is being talked about, gold and silver are now underwater on the day. - I think this phenomena says it all.
Mr Blofeld wins again, moreover, he can't be defeated. - Is it any wonder that World-Wars are on the agenda.
Thanks Sotolo
Fair enough - Good diplomatic answer if I may say so. :-)
The only reason I asked is that there appears to have been a marked lack of support from British Journalists/media in relation to the scandal behind his extradition .- There was a time when the 'Fourth estate' would have had a field day. - The aftermath of the 'News of the world'/ Murdoch trial has turned them all into toothless guard-dogs I fear.
Some may find this of interest. - Hope you found 'The paradigm of money' of interest.

It seems the ripples from Cowichan's pebbles are achieving ever wider resonance. - Significant players in the space, now await with interest/anticipation. his next posting/revelation. - Centamin clearly don't like it, but it's their own fault, they have brought it upon themselves. - Cowichan is effectively demonstrating that shareholders are not just simple, subservient, cannon-fodder.
Cowichan highlights an important issue here. - Why the secrecy ?- Why the obfuscation? - To who's benefit are these details being kept secret? - It's a fair question and in the light of recent Centamin history, a question that requires an answer. - If Martin Horgan is the honest-broker that most think he is, he should give it urgent attention. - Let's see what happens.
Hi Mr Bond
I don't think there is a contradiction in what we are saying. - I'm not aware that B3 has any control over the Comex and its futures-trading activities - B3 is about rules covering International banking. - The BIS is the arbitor of banking-regulations and so far as I know, their remit has no responsibility in covering trading-platforms activities..
Hi Mr Bond
As I understand it, the segment of Basel 3 that effects the value of 'Paper-gold' held on account , the Net Stable Funding Requirement (NSFR) is already in place. With the exception of the LBMA, it has been in place since July 21. - LBMA from Jan 22. - Only 15% of the value of said contracts is now applicable, the remaining 85% has to be covered by Tier 1 assets - There are still segments of Basel 3 as yet to be introduced/implemented and I believe it will be 2023 before full implementation is complete. - Gold has been elevated to Tier 1 status along with Cash and certain other assets that can offer instant liquidity. - It doesn't mean of course that Gold has to be held in paper gold's place. - Any Tier 1 asset can provide the required 85% coverage. - This is my understanding
Or, was it accidentally on purpose? - I had previously forecast a'mine-incident' and sure enough, there it was. - A chess-move perhaps in the grand-scheme of things? - A move designed to suppress/damage the SP in order to accommodate other factors perhaps? - In the light of what followed, it would be very easy to harbour such thoughts.- IMO
