All the ducks lining up. This is going to the moon IMO. How can it possibly fail with this team of super stars under the iconic Aston Martin brand name??? GLAH
Anyone expecting any positives from the AGM on Thursday or do we think it will just be standard business?
Mytton and joe66.
Sod being pedantic. It’s now an Agronomic apocalypse. I did warn of the risks of share holder shafting. Glad I stayed on the sidelines.
Sorry if already posted. I see that Mr Fool has published another heartfelt article in AML yesterday. Although he is right in term of debt and income/losses I do think that AML is more than just statistics at the moment. Look at the changes that have taken place in the business over the last 8-12 weeks. It is all positive movements and recruitments that show to me a statement of intent and commitment in turning this company around.
If none of these changes had taken place then I would full heartily agree with Mr Fools stance on AML but I I do think there is a bigger picture to be seen here, a much bigger picture. Perhaps I let my heart rule my head? Topic for discussion....
Missed it and now I’m not sure whether to short or go long haha
Wire card. Could be another luckin or could just be an honest mistake. That’s the gamble.
What a gamble on them finding the missing £2Billion and all is swell? I had similar thoughts. A German company, when on earth have you ever heard of a German misplacing money?
This is going to be a game of cat and mouse until we start getting news releases from Aston Martin RE DBX reservations. Good news to hear Moers has made constructive changes to improve production quality. AML can not afford for the DBX to be a flop that’s a dead cert. right man at the wheel bringing AMG Inspired quality and refinement to AML
The most notable comment I take away from today was by Pau10z. The fact that this SP has seemingly stabilised, and for some of you, become “boring” is in my eyes a fantastic thing. The fast you go up, that faster you come down. If we can see a steady day again tomorrow (smidge is blue would be nice but not essential) then that would be a real show of strength. Especially with Goldman Sachs recent broker rating (which I think is scaremonger-ish). Steady she goes, Boycott at the crease to see us through.
Do we expect there to be a bum in SP when they announced JDW actually opening for business again? If so I’m thinking of holding until then and then dumping when people realise as you said they are not getting the volume of people through the doors to make it profitable? Opinions please.
I never heard it mentioned...... if the DBX sells well and the debt is restructured correctly I wouldn’t see the need for another RI (hate the term so will use initials)
If you guys were listening in to the Q1 presentation you would have noticed that the Goldman Sachs reps had it in for AML then with the way they were questioning. Not sure where this founded hate has come from. 30p/shr valuation is a bit ridiculous to me personally when it reached a low Of 28p in the height of the virus crisis. Since then they have re shuffled the directors. Cut jobs to manage debt and focus on the DBX line of sale. Order book is rumoured to be healthy. Makes no logic sense to me.
Forgive my ignorance JT. Why is it that although it is oversold the SP continues to go up? Is this MM manipulation? Would appreciate the advice. Rgds
Does anyone know when and what month the water front provider contract gets tendered for and renewed? I cannot seem to find a specific year/month. This would be a good news story for Bab**** if they secured it. I thought it was September this year but could be wrong.
Ouch!
He means “break-out” or “run away” if it breaks the upper resistance level then it is classed as this. However, this is speculation based.
Some news just released, by The Sun admittedly, that oxford scientist have discovered an existing £5 drug that cuts COVID deaths by 33%. Could this be the kind of news that gets the economy rocking and rolling again. Food for thought.
You say that there is not much tech taken from F1 but the new Valkyrie is the closest thing you can get to an F1 that’s road legal. Contains a lot of F1 founded tech. Could make sense going forward.
Pure Speculation of Course - just seen that Andy Cowell, Mercedes F1 Engine Boss has left Mercedes to work on a new venture. Could this be the man to integrate into Aston Martin? Further strength the AML & AMG bond........ food for thought
Hertz down 25pc pre market. This will scare away the retail investors and should kick start the huge sell off. Heavy losses ahead.
