my buy yesterday22 Jun 2022 15:12
ill timed and this drop will have frayed a few nerves but I am not selling. I think the gold sanctions thing must be to blame. it is vague and it is hard to understand what sanctions mean at the best of times, not just us but the people who have to deal with them too.
China is biggest gold miner and none of it is allowed to leave China. Russia central bank . Russian central bank has been the biggest buyer in world past few years and I think same is true.
SO, you wouldn`t think gold sanctions have much effect but it is always the uncertainty that is the killer.
Pog can supposedly sell gold now but they deliberately i m o keep it vague. The company itself has still said nothing.
Johnson is the biggest barrier to a peaceful resolution > uk is US poodle but uk attitude goes way beyond that. Hard to see even Johnson brazening his way past the latest revelations, not to mention his constant hiding abroad chiefly Ukraine ,and I think the bye elections will finish him. I doubt he cares much now he has BEEN PM- his earnings giving speeches will break all records- but he is looking for a way of resigning while looking reasonably noble. Either exhaustion or travel sickness.
The Russian central bank early on in the crisis offered a buy gold scheme, not generous at first due to the weak rouble. Then they changed it as the rouble got very strong. Anyone know what they do currently ?
