Does anyone else think that all this travel Chaos might be good for Southend? Apparently problems at other areas caused by staffing shortages.
This has gone from one of my star picks to where it is today. Motley highly recomending it just a couple of weeks ago lol https://www.fool.co.uk/2022/02/11/heres-1-ftse-tech-stock-to-snap-up-before-soars/
Thanks for the replies. I'm still up at the moment and will continue to hold. I think a SaaS offering digital marketing is a great combination having studied marketing myself. One idea would be to get it into the hands of current students so that they start using it/becoming familiar with it at uni. 200 seems like support, just wish I had a bit of extra money to pick up some more. Wish there was a bit more chat about this share.
Thanks again.

I've only been investing in shares since the start of the year. I bought Dotdigital after wanting to get some exposure to a company in AI. What I was wondering was, how can the share price drop 20% in one day after positive news? I'm aware of "buy on the rumor, sell on the fact", but this is a massive one day drop. I looks like a coordinated dumping. Any opinion/advice appreciated.

Hi guys. I've been invested in Eskn for a few months now after hearing about them from an experienced trader colleague. It's been great reading some of the knowledgeable posts here, especially Gerry. I do fluctuate from optimistic to pessimism about the company, but at the moment, I'm upbeat.
My reasons are as follows.
• I love that they aren't a one-trick pony and that they can use the cash cow energy side of the business to support the other potential growth side, the airport.
• London is the busiest airspace in the world and Eskn own an airport in it. Sure the budget airlines are playing it tough with us now, but the reality is that the airlines are also competing ferociously with each other; the one that makes a good deal to use Southend first looks to gain some advantage.
• It looks unlikely that Heathrow's third runway will happen. Again, great news for Eskn/Southend.
• The pent-up travel demand, I believe, will explode next summer. People are well and truly over covid; there are vaccines and the new antiviral pills.
• On top of that, the share price, dare I say it, seems to have found its floor.
Sure, it's not the company it used to be, but it looks to have a tonne going for it.
