Thanks Red. Very helpful
I wondered if anyone had any information on the current shorters position. Whether the shares on loan had diminished at all since the short position was taken up on the 10th? Thanks in advance.
Sahara, I have a feeling that your chart will prove to be correct and a "bounce" upwards is imminent. I predicted a move this week.
Price manipulation partly by shorters and also in order to facilitate buys from frightened private investors by institutions. The shorters will move on but unfortunately, it's all part of the "Aim Game". Buckle up and sit tight.
Everyone is in a different financial position and I for one have bought all that I possibly can in the dips and I'm all tapped out.
I have a "feeling" that good news will lift us all next week and kick start some positivity. Have a lovely weekend all.
Looks like it's trying to break out above 8.5. Ever hopeful. GLA. I've dipped in again at the low 8s
GGP News - Berenberg cuts Greatland Gold price target to 12 (19) pence - 'buy'
I'd be happy with 12 for now! GLA hoping for a bounce up at some stage.
I'm backing SD with Ernest Giles
After our recent rises, how many of you are expecting a pull back in the sp once the market opens in the new year? I see SolGold was pulled back from its 11.45 high in the last few days to 9.6. I only ask because I must release some capital before the beginning of February and I would like to try and time it as best I can. Thanks in advance, GLA and all the best for a great.2024.
What chance does anyone have to change the situation when the courts will not even compel the stock.market to release pertinent information when short sellers are taken to court for illegal practices....

10p by close on Friday?
Happy Christmas all.
Saharas. That looks great and I hope that it comes to pass. GLA
I am of the same opinion, GGP is very temptingly priced and hugely undervalued. A high enough offer per share would probably get the majority vote. I have a feeling no one would vote for 12p but somewhere in the region of 40-50p might swing it. Not my preference but that's life. GLA
3m Put through as "Unknown" at 9.55 yeah right!! Obvious buy
@Inspiration The only reason I didn't say ladies and gentlemen is because in my experience, the ladies are far more adept at dealing with the highs and lows without fretting quite so severely.
@Philbrim I quite agree. This discussion platform has deteriorated and just recently is something more akin to a teenage Eastenders! ( so I'm told)
Over tne past years I have generally sat back and enjoyed reading the informative posts from those with far more knowledge on the subject than me. Long may that continue. Good luck all.
What I failed to mention on my previous comment was that in the case of Burford vs The specific company of alleged shorters, the British courts refused to compel the stock exchange to release the information that they held as it would interfere in the working of the markets. The wording is not verbatim but gives you the drift of how institutionalised and protected the markets are. Gla
Gentleman, regardless of share price, market cap or state of play with regards extraction, actual profit, RNS or MRE etc. The simple fact is that the market is able to be manipulated. If you pick any aim company share discussion 99% of them are littered with exactly the same comments about unfulfilled expectations, share price being held back etc. etc etc. This is the world that we have chosen to invest our money in. Undoubtedly, like many other companies here, GGP is a worthwhile medium to long term investment. To see these negative comments, makes me think that a lot of people here do not realise what they have gotten themselves into. If you cannot bear the ups and downs of the markets, you really are better off investing elsewhere and having a more peaceful life, where you do not berate yourself daily, weekly or monthly for the poor choices that you have made or constantly blame someone else (usually shorters). Unfortunately for us all they are allowed and part of this world. If you google Burford and shorters, you will see what they are capable of with a company of over 2bn mkt cap. If you are constantly worried and watching the GGP share price all day, I would suggest that this form of investment is not good for you. For disclosure, I originally bought in 2020 at 12p and am still holding but have reduced my average recently. Wishing everyone all the best and hoping for a productive and profitable 2024. Happy Christmas and a Healthy New year to all.
Great interview maybe video RNS might be the way forward in the future. That certainly came across a lot better. Upbeat and positive with mention of the MRE still to be unveiled this quarter. The Wet Wednesday sale may be ending soon!
