Eth seems to be scaling new heights and this is not to suggest we should go up when it does and go down when it does. Yes, we have some holdings but point is, the reason behind the rise is funds being set up bonds being issued to invest in these areas which in turn means grater recognition and acceptance of DEFI. Of course I want kr1 holdings doing well, BTC 60k few years, anyone thought so? No so DOT and others, who knows in 6 months or a year. Lth hopefully will do well IMHO but selfish as this sounds, this company management really are kind of ahead of the game but knowing how IB work, may only be a matter of time before they run a ruler over this company and if I got this right, that would mark a definite 1st!Wishful thinking I know
I seriously hope this is not a veiled attempt to discourage buying because lots of companies bat above their NAV. Let the market find its footing. As someone said when NAV was higher, SP was lower. There's so many unrealised investments, Acala few others and that in time will add many many millions, I hope and then we can discuss further NAV. Come on management.
Thank you kind sir, forgive me if you're not. This is what new or existing investors should be educated on if they visit this site hoping to learn more before investing, NAV is still impressive but personally, I can bang on till the cows come home but why this has fallen fast and hard I really don't know. Paper profit down but nice to be hovering in the upper range like 150 to 200p.
Volatility and abundance of MM is not helping SP. Prices of DOT and Kusama are down but I wouldn't say tanked. When DOT broke through, was it 45, nothing great happened but we didn't buy the shares so no loss to us. Can't discount DEFI and Web 3. I've held shares nursing severe drops but recovered to go higher in 2 months but yo each their own. ATB
I'm as feeble a ramper if there ever was one but volume of buying is more than sold. Good signs but its never easy holding when you're not sure how sentiment is. NFT Pluto all raising profile of these types of companies. One school would be, if they do well, kr1 should do likewise, other school is, money here goes there, fickle indeed but I'm quietly hoping for a decent run and the management is, not without criticism mind you, which I'm sure they ignore, is still the best asset. IMHO of course.
Agreed. Can't remember the last time it stayed blue but I guess there was a period that it remained blue. There needs to be a change of direction soon. Glad to see the directors not bothered by the SP and carrying on with what they do best. I'm sure when they started out, they didn't expect this MC and I'm sure that when they look back in a few months time, they'll still be unaffected as their vision is bc infrastructure, evolution of Web 3.0 and like most new tech, this will increase in time. I hope so anyway. ATB. 2.37 seems such a long time ago!! Oh well. There's always tomorrow.
I thought DOT held up well. It's getting slightly confusing, is KR1 invested in NFT start ups. SP past week has not been affected when DOT broke 40 but if its done, kr1 should be down, honestly, I don't think it's a fair comparison but I'm a small PI, can't influence the SP. The management is sending out right signals with investments and appointments. To them, nothing has changed so if you want to hold, make extra profit or sell if you want to cut loss, whose to stop you. Maybe 4 50 end April far fetched but it has fallen a lot since its ATH. Nice to recoup
I think the continuous rise to its ATH created an expectation akin to some shares who gained 100x last year. Its a natural process, sell if you fear but buy if you have faith. The fundamentals have not changed. You don't see directors bailing, instead taking shares, a BOD that doesn't influence SP or is distracted from their ultimate goal of achieving their own internal targets are sound in the long term and if you believe in Web 3.0 and DEFI, this is where its at. Still hoping for a dividend or a TO. Being in this exchange is a double edged sword. Elsewhere could be worse, you never know.
"The Coinbase IPO is the Netscape moment for crypto in the wider public markets and will light a fire under all crypto assets and especially public market stocks related to crypto," says Keld van Schreven, managing director and cofounder of listed crypto investor KR1, in emailed comments. "The IPO is also a big opportunity for Coinbase user growth as the hype and PR generated will for sure onboard even more users in the IPO and subsequent stock price increase." Lets hope so it is sad to see the spread but I think this has legs and Keld should know a thing or two about what he is saying, yes?
"The Netscape IPO marked the beginning of the dotcom boom," Pete Flint, founder of venture capital firm NFX told The Times of London newspaper. "The Coinbase [float] will mark the beginning of the blockchain boom."
Our team is thrilled to welcome Coinbase Ventures to the Acala ecosystem. This week, the investment arm of Coinbase has announced their support for Acala, the all-in-one DeFi hub of Polkadot. This investment also supports Karura, the DeFi hub of Kusama being built by the Acala team.
Acala is an EVM-compatible layer-1 blockchain optimized for DeFi. The Acala team has also built a full suite of DeFi applications on top of the blockchain platform, enabling four core products: Liquid DOT staking (LDOT), the multi-collateralized stablecoin, Acala Dollar (aUSD), an AMM decentralized exchange called the Acala DEX, and Acala’s decentralized sovereign wealth fund (dSWF), which enables network controlled value on Acala.
Acala we have but number unspecified and we have Kusama I believe. As some wise person said, if you believe that open source type applications, Web 3.0, distributed ledger technology is here to stay then this is a investment to consider. A divi would be nice though! Again, not a recommendation to buy but just a personal reassurance to me!
Sorry, struck a nerve, that's all. But anyone caring for a sufferer, you will never know the grief and suffering that they go through but hey, its Good Friday and for those of us who believe in the resurrection of Christ, lets celebrate and give thanks. Happy Easter all.
Wow, what an amazing analysis. Prefer to drive around and possible injure others than risk giving up the driving license and exactly what is your point, do not buy BRH correct. I had a grandma who doctors did not diagnose and gave her all sorts of drugs to keep her calm. She did not drive BUT hey, she did not know how to drive but I can see why you say there is no market for this test, hope you are proved wrong. Seriously
Agree with both theories. One should try never to lose cash. No one can accurately predict a share price, well I can't, thats for sure! But if you trust your gut instincts, sometimes holding when things are down may be the best. Last few days taking a bruising was hard to watch BUT as I was coming to work, it struck me that if I can keep focusing on my work and not worry about this, I really feel this will reward the LTH. Yes, Blonity, Wexboy all and the others here who share have made the effort to share with us what they believe benefits us to make an informed decision and yes, they do expect to profit, who doesn't BUT I for one, all things being equal, really believe in this long term and I hope I have the xxx to hold until the end year or until it reaches say MC1 billion!!!!! ATB and GLA Don't be mad at the management on the choice of exchange or lack of reply on questions, no offence but when you are the lion, do you stop and listen to the opinion of a sheep! read that somewhere. I do not mean disrespect to the person who wrote to them not by any means, I am saying they may be evaluating tons of investments on a daily basis, if you work with a VC, you will know so please do not take it to heart
They granted share options to a company with expertise in M&A. Now, they have started to commence negotiations. It is all there for everyone to read BUT arrive at their own conclusion. I doubt they would not want the best outcome for the shareholders and possibly thinking they lack the expertise, they engaged a firm well versed in M&A, did I miss the point. Some person mentioned acquiring the whole company, well, may be on the table BUT the fact remains, Globalco is sitting down, just nego the fine prints with the M&A specialists and the product is there already and the funds are there to proceed and if this is concluded, may not even require a further drawdown. I think these are genuine and only guess is how high pis are prepared to let it fly
Genting Bhd's 23.4%-owned associate Cortechs.ai said the company and UK-listed IQ-AI Ltd's subsidiary Imaging Biometric LLC (IB) have expanded their business development agreement to offer IB's products on Cortechs.ai's platform. Genting is a RM20billion company. From the Edge markets. TB has a good vision and like most, some win, some don't. I'm not here to say anything apart from highlighting this which maybe some already know. I'm in Brh and hope it does well. Gla
With you on that kind Sir. Laughable to think 200m is not possible and who doesn't dream of 10.00. Did anyone think NYCT would do what it did. Not here to talk up or talk down other shares but personally and quietly hoping that their other tests and companies step up. Those caring for elderly with dementia may appreciate it. ATB. The market isn't always wrong do hold or sell you should not begrudged. Huge mnc should be looking to ride on this with the test, partner up, help with production etc. Prof is a masterstroke, he loves what he does. Hope he's acknowledged for his efforts and his team too. And if TB sells some shares, give him a break. He endured a lot of abuse but rewarded shareholders, that's what I as a Shareholder look for, dividends and as a bonus, capital appreciation. Gla. I saw SNG rise and it was amazing, nice to have a share like that at that time, whether I'd sell is the problem, haven't mastered nor expect to but as long as I'm not losing and few better places to get returns to sustain during these uncertain times. That's why I'm in this.
As I said, you're probably right not me.
I saw 200k for 222m shares and worked out that the 222m shares were valued at 0.10.Then on listing, if it goes to 1.00 it becomes 222m. Its obvious I'm wrong now but we learn. Got excited for no reason but still good return no doubt
OK, I'm not the best between the ears when sums are concerned because the nagging from missus fried what was left BUT 1 billion tokens and I'm not sure how they are valued or when they are going to be priced but look at the prices of alt coins, even if 0.10, our stake is 22m. Can anyone see Tidal going to 1.00 since its an insurance with specific focus on DEFI. If you can, our stake will be worth 222m. Our NAV will double and maybe SP perhaps. 4.50 end April. That hero may be right, its a fluke I'm sure but what a fluke. This is why management was so excited. And guess what all, they have more waiting to be realised. Just saying but not sure of tidal price though. Anyway, added top tier management appointments and anticipated larger asset base sounds promising. Lots of shares if you want to invest but compared to others this is one to watch and for those who have, do keep.
Could be right there as they are aware of the regulatory points and seem to be putting in place a good team. Nice to have a huge endorsement by the investing community of new appointments but alas. What encouraged me was the fact about a larger asset base. Not more shareholders , larger asset base suggests a possible monetising of investments and incremental value of investments coming on stream. That's mho
