Is / was the $70-80m claim a deliberate ploy to starve the company into bankruptcy (and possibly tied in with Hope / Russia / Ivan) or is it the result of not handing over the brown envelopes?! The GOGC and their legal team have made several optimistic statements but have never mentioned this amount or gone into as much details as Zaza. Why? IMO the outcome bodes well for FRR
“Irrespective of the arb I think there is little chance of seeing cash back from here “
Sein - explain the logic behind that line considering the statement found a few days back where the company was founded by members of BH, ConocoPhillips etc as well as the fact that ZM and SN own 20% of the company.
There have also been a few other statements made today about Zaza which makes you think some SHs on here are not really up speed on what’s actually going on. Can you think of any other CEOs that have had to face the extreme level and diverse attacks on their company?!
Former Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili assesses the detention of Gigi Ugulava as an "example of using the court for political reasons," claiming that such actions of the government will increase polarization in the country.

Think of it as the same meaning but changed in translation eg star = rats
It’s looking more and more like the political measures used in Russia.
"It is an unfair and politically motivated decision, and it was personally taken by Ivanishvili, which was executed by the judges who did not even have time to study the case”, Ugulava said, adding that he expected the guilty verdict

Makes you wonder whether the deliberate delaying of the arbitration, surfacing of martial on corrupt government officials and involvement of congressman is part of a big plan to remove the DP. A big coincidence that it’s happening now. Are the DP a threat that SMs and the West want removed before progress / investment can continue ie NATO, EU and the investment of $bs?!

Perhaps it was lost in translation stirrage , unlike your motives on here.
“We have been talking to the Department of State about the economic projects that our government has planned, including the Anaklia project,” said Talakvadze.
“Our main goal is to find a new, reliable partner investor, who will be able to implement this [Anaklia] project. We are ready to support this project in the future too”, the Parliament Chairman stated.

I'm half expecting the GOGC to pull out of the arbitration as more info comes to light. I very much doubt that the GG would want info / dirt on 'brown envelopes', Iranian oil smuggling etc being discussed in great detail at the arbitration and then released into the media as it would further tarnish the Georgian reputation. The Dream Party have some big decisions to make prior to the upcoming election!
Coggy’s similar looks and muscular physique to Kirk Douglas
I agree Coggy, but the statement about the lack of overalls is also false. All the guys we met were issued with overalls, hard hats and safety boots. They even supplied us all with a set.
The head of the center of International politics, Luke Coffey impulses that the NATO alliance should seriously consider the recommendation by the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to accept Georgia in the Alliance.

Prime Minister Gakharia will make an official visit to Washington DC (USA) in spring, the governing administration reports.
The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Archil Talakvadze, also confirmed that from February a number of high-level meetings are planned for the two countries. Specifically, in Congress, to address the issues that the Congressmen and Senators are concerned about. According to the Speaker, there is “intense communication” needed and the political context must be “fully argumentized”.

'Also says 'GOGC and the State Agency have refrained from initiating action to interfere with Frontera's continued exercise of rights in the disputed territory'
Contradicts the statement that was a made a few days ago about the taking back of the license area and the confiscation of FRR equipment.
A lot does NOT stack up here !
Despite Georgia’s being a geographically small country with limited military and economic potential, still it is important for the US to analyze the internal political developments. As Georgia gears up for crucial parliamentary elections this October, extensive cooperation with various parties should be carried out. From the US perspective, the most popular parties in Georgia are in fact pro-western. This serves as a good basis for the composition of a long-term strategy.

No doubt there are a lot of shares in the hands of high profile individuals, both American and Georgian !
