Gold +1.9% overnight and silver +2.7% - fingers crossed for a good green day. 🤞

I would hope a positive reception. After all JP Morgan just upped their long term gold price forecast.

An acquisition ...didn't see that coming

Silver had a reasonable positive move overnight. If that holds or continues could be a good day.

Chang in sentiment today was a bit of a turn up for the plus fours.

SP is rolled back to 3 September when silver was about USD41 an ounce

After spending most of the day in the red nice to see a cheeky 1% at close

Last year's results and dividend were pretty spicy - I'd hope after a year of significantly elevated pm prices we'll see last year on steroids.

I really messed up the last couple of days. The paper loss of Friday/Monday doesn't bother me near as much as the missed opportunity to pocket an extra 25% shares.

Indecisive at the time and hindsight is a wonderful thing. 😭

Yesterday was a bit odd. I'd say the production report was positively received but was offset by the continued downward pressure on silver/gold.

I'm hoping Fres was oversold (as a previous poster eloquently put it,"miners sh*t themselves on the way down") and that coupled with a stabilisation/slight recovery in PMs should see an improvement in the SP

When I tested it at open my provider was only offering negotiated trades for both buy and sell.

I hadn't considered that but think you have a point.

Buys at close popped it up to 2,114.00.

Looking at bullion suppliers in the UK you can buy a 1kg silver bar for £1,496. At 35.274 ounces per kg that equals £42.41 per ounce. At $1.34 to the pound that is $56.83 per ounce Vs a spot price of $49 per ounce. That is some premium!
