I think ITM are a bit ahead and are already in the roasting bag simmering away ready for the gas to be turned up.

Spot on troublesome. This tory government have
a lot to answer for at moment.

The markets are going to be hard to judge for a while.

The volatility will make things uncomfortable for a while and it will cause people to pull out of the market until it settles.

The SP here is all over the place because of it.

It could be the general public that dictate the market over the coming week, even the good shares are at risk of being pulled down and the MM's will take full advantage.

After seeing this on the news it's going to unrest the markets with the potential economic disaster of a second Covid-19 wave.

Half tempted to cash everything in tomorrow and just sit on cash until the lunatics are safely locked down again........

ITM will not only manufacture the kit, but like their fuel stations become a hydrogen supplier to the national grid not only here but potentially other parts of the world as their kit is complient with many other countries regulations.

That is where the big money is and explains the Linde link up.

Life is all the better with a few jokers in the world.

I never worked for them Zodiac. Like many risky Investments, which this was 5 years ago I love like to go and see what I am putting my cash in.

Walked out, meaning, at the end of my day visit.

The majority of my shares were bought between 6p to 40p ( the options given last October), my average is 14p.

I am pleased with how it has gone since I walked out of my day visit.

There is another share holder visit planned for when the new factory is complete, I will be visiting again and walking back out with an even bigger smile this time as potentially we will be in the 400p territory by then.

I am very happy with the first 5 years of looking into my crystal ball back in 2015.

With this share now pretty much de-risked I am even more optimistic for the next 5 years I talked about.

I walked out of the ITM factory all those years ago and said to my wife " I think I have discovered a company that will make us millionaires "

I still believe that now moreso than ever.

My very first posts about ITM from five years ago.

It was my career in construction that lead me to investigate ITM for one of the construction journals mentioned about a large stake they had taken in ITM.

I wasn't familiar with Hydrogen much back then but a day or so of research and a visit to ITM convinced me to put money in here.

It's good to look back on old research because this thread reminded me of something very important now, ITM's equipment complies with many specific international standards which on the day Dr Cooley said in the future will enable them to tender for projects all over the world. All back then they future proofed and I think that is going to play a major part in the future success of ITM..........

Make the most of the SP possibly sub 250p entry points for another week or so.

Then it will be lucky if you can get in sub 300p post July 8th.

This very good read below reinforces my thoughts. Don't forget ITM are already in advanced trials for hydrogen at a 20% mix in both open and closed grids.

The oil and gas companies have nowhere to go other than hydrogen to meet future carbon emissions targets.

I am just lucky I got in five years ago dsc1978.

I don't believe it's greatly overpriced for the long term future it has, however there is a chance of a short term adjustment as people are not going to be selling because it's over priced but they want some cash in the bank because of all the uncertainty out there. There is so much profit tied up in ITM for both long term and short term holders. It will temp some to bank some cash and that is why the price is all over the place. MM's taking advantage of the uncertainty, they got to make a living.

We could well see the SP go nearer 200p, if it does at least the cash cusion as well as sitting on the majority of my holding of shares that cost me 14p is not going to upset me too much in the short term.

We all know where it will be in 12 months time don't we.

I bought some more Velocys today, just under 8p, a bargain I think, and out of the free cash from my ITM gamble. It doesn't matter if that is a mistake, it's not my money I am playing with.

A good plan.

It's easy just to leave things as they are.

There are lots of lazy investors about, it's good to be active as I have found the last few months now I can work more flexible hours from home.

Working from home has made me realise I was a lazy investor previously and probably could have been a bit further ahead had I traded more often.

Making up for lost time now.

Well dsc1978....... what don't you understand about buying back the same holding for £ 8500 less.

In simple terms for a calculated gamble of being out for a week which was based on a lot of bad news flying around and people wanting to bank some cash I now have some cash as well as all my shares back.

I didn't think I would be back in so quick, I was planning for first week in July ahead of UK and EU stimulus plans being announced, but the price went down quicker to a re-entry point I am happy with.

It makes me happier about the further swings we could still see having banked some cash without any loss to the amount of shares I hold.

Infact I hold 2000 more now which I will use as a short term hold as I do believe we will see the SP poke it's head above 300p in July and probably never return to these levels we see now.

I do know that. I was using the US platform here in the UK in 1998 to start trading my first online business.

If my memory serves me right they started eBay UK around 2000 and used me as an example in some of their UK marketing to encourage other online traders to use the platform as I had established good monthly sales over the two years I had been trading.

So not quite sure what you are getting at. All I said was based on dsc1978 about the net worth of a company looking over valued you could have said the same for eBay in the early days and that I wished I had bought some eBay shares in the early days.

This is a great article and ITM are going to be well placed to be involved with microgrid installations.

Coming from a construction background I know that some potential sites are just not feasible because of getting gas and electric to them because the infrastructure costs would just be to great.

It's another reason why the UK government need to invest in a hydrogen future. It will unlock previously unviable sites and help solve the housing crisis.

The article below is a great read and reinforces we are in at the right time in the right place. ITM's future manufacturing capacity will only help drive down hydrogen infrastructure costs and if they keep control of the installations they have a great chance of becoming one of the UK's largest hydrogen generators both for the domestic and commercial markets which they are already in trials with.

You can see why Linde wanted such a big slice of the action having been left behind in hydrogen R &D just like all the major oil and gas companies have and now they all have to form partnerships pretty quick. Moving forward, I doubt Linde will be the last wanting a slice of the action with ITM. You could see the major house builders wanting in as well.

Anything is possible troublesome, cash always king in times of uncertainty, and there is still some generised uncertainty out there.

We are just lucky here really that in all that uncertainty their is good positive hydrogen newsflow, and as we know, ITM have some potential to drop something specific with all that is in their pipeline and with the largest world class GW capacity PEM Electrolyzer factory nearing completion with many GW needed worldwide as LTH and there are many of us, I don't think any of us will be parting with our ITM in massive droves as a dip into the 220's proved earlier in the week.

It's going to take a price a lot higher than the current SP to tempt any long termers out.
