RR across the pond isn't moving so wishful thinking the news will have any impact

US CPI was last week

Lloyds buybacks are a waste of time and should be paid as a dividend, otherwise the funds go in bonuses or staff save as you earn

Lots of new shares being issued in the next year and a half when the 23p share save scheme matures

1 billion buy back every year say takes 2.5 billion shares off the register, it will take over 20 years to get the share count down to where barclays and NWG are and that's without all the shares handed out in bonuses and share schemes

With the rally of the Dow this should be over £2 give it a month or so

ITP money landing is my route out like I said earlier, no other news moves this as we have all seen over the last few months

Longer term would be fine if a dividend was being paid, I wouldn't put my money in a fund or bank account which didn't pay any interest

Will it close below 85p??

My thoughts exactly it goes up 4% one day and then gives up any gains over the next couple of trading sessions, better off just buying at around this level and sell as soon as you realise a 3-4% gain

Hopefully when ITP money lands this will be back In the 90s this is the only good news I can see RR actually reacting to, will be jumping ship just need 91.3p

For the second quarter as a whole, the economy contracted by 0.1%, compared with forecasts for a 0.3% drop.

The shareprice looks weak its bouncing around and never really gains any traction, will be looking to exit the next time its in the 90s
